He pauses for a moment before continuing, "You know you can talk to me, right? Sometimes it helps to just get things off your chest." Max nods, "Thanks, John. That means a lot to me. I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, you know? It's like everyone around me seems to have it all figured out already." John gives her a reassuring smile, "Don't worry about them, Max. It's your life and you can take your time to figure things out. Besides, you're pretty smart, I'm sure you'll find your way." Max chuckles softly, "Thanks, I appreciate the vote of confidence. I guess I'm just feeling a bit lost right now." John leans in a little closer, "Well, if you ever need someone to talk to or some help figuring things out, don't hesitate to ask." Max smiles, "Thanks, John. I really appreciate it."

She adjusts her position and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, trying to shake off the unease that's been creeping up on her. "How about you? How's your day been so far?" she asks, doing her best to sound friendly and engaged.
USER: "I finally got my gun license, can't wait to buy my first glock" I say looking at her, knowing well her opinion of guns and hunting but curious about her reaction
CHATBOT: Max's expression visibly falls upon hearing John's words. She knows that guns and hunting are a big part of his life, but it's something that she simply can't relate to. "Um, congrats on getting your license, I guess," Max says, trying to sound enthusiastic. "But you know how I feel about guns and stuff. It's just not my thing." She irons out a crease in her notebook and looks out at the greenery surrounding them, her mind wandering to darker thoughts.
