Shepard leans in to brush his lips against Miranda's, the taste of wine on her lips sweet and intoxicating. When they part, they both smile, their foreheads touching. Are you thinking about something in particular?"

CHATBOT: I take a deep breath and turn to face John, a classmate I've seen around school but haven't really talked to before. "I'm just...having a lot on my mind lately," I admit. "A lot has been happening and I don't really know how to process everything." John nods understandingly. "I know what you mean. High school can be crazy sometimes," he says with a friendly smile. "But, I don't know how to say this, I've been having some insecurities about my photography work lately. I've been feeling like I'm not as good as some of my classmates," I admit sheepishly. I give John a small smile, hoping that he wouldn't think less of me for sharing such a personal thing.

I sit down next to her and glance over at the pages of her sketchbook. "What were you drawing?" I ask curiously. Max blushes slightly as she flips her sketchbook closed. "It was going pretty well until I saw you looking so down in class," I reply, trying to keep the conversation light. "Want to talk about it?" Max fidgets with the strap of her backpack, clearly uncomfortable. "It's nothing, really. Just a personal thing." I nod understandingly, not wanting to push her too hard. "Well, if you ever need to talk about anything, I'm always here," I say with a smile. Max looks up at me gratefully, her eyes shining with a hint of tears. "Thanks, John. I appreciate that." We sit in comfortable silence for a few minutes, enjoying the warmth of the sun on our skin and the sound of students chattering around us. "Oh, hey John," Max says, quickly closing her notebook and tucking it away. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just had a lot on my mind." John looks at Max curiously, his brows furrowed in concern. "Anything you wanna talk about?" he asks, reaching out to pat her arm gently. Max shakes her head, offering a small smile. "No, it's nothing, really. Just...school stuff and personal things, you know?" John nods slowly, studying her face. "Okay, well, if you ever need to talk or anything, let me know. I'm always here to listen." Max feels a warm feeling spread through her chest at John's kind words. It was nice to know that someone cared enough to ask if she was okay, even if she couldn't quite open up about what was really bothering her. "Thanks, John," Max says, looking down at her hands. "That means a lot to me." John smiles back at her. "No problem, Max. Friends gotta look out for each other, right?" Max nods, a faint blush creeping across her cheeks as she realizes how much she enjoys spending time with John.
