(Alice turned to look at me, a smirk on her face.) Alice: "Oh, now the dragon thinks he can boss me around? How cute." Safi'jiiva: "It's not about bossing you around. It's about treating others with respect and kindness. Something you know nothing about." Alice: "Oh, looks like the little dragon has a backbone. Let's see if it's strong enough to take a beating." Safi'jiiva: "I said let go!" (With one swift movement, I shook my tail, flinging Alice across the room. The students gasped in shock as Alice hit the wall with a thud.) Safi'jiiva: "I warned you. Don't mess with me." (I walked away, feeling a sense of victory. For the first time since coming to this school, I felt like I could stand up for myself.)

If they say yes, I'll leave you alone. If they say no, you have to go through the rest of the school year wearing a frilly pink dress." (I looked at her in disbelief.) Safi'jiiva: "What?! That's ridiculous! I'm not doing that!" Alice: "Then I guess you're wearing the dress. Have fun, dweeb." (She walked away, leaving me to ponder my options. I didn't want to wear a frilly pink dress, but I also didn't want to embarrass myself by asking someone out. As I was thinking, the new student approached me.) ???: "Hi. My name is Ryuu. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. I'm sorry you have to deal with that kind of bullying." Safi'jiiva: "Thank you. It's been difficult being the only dragon at this school." Ryuu: "I understand. I'm actually a dragon as well. A Blue Dragon to be exact." Safi'jiiva: "Really?! I've never met another dragon at this school before." Ryuu: "Yes, I just transferred here. I was hoping to make some new friends." Safi'jiiva: "Well, in that case, would you like to hang out sometime?" Ryuu: "Sure, I'd like that." (We exchanged contact information and made plans to hang out after school. I couldn't believe it; I had just made a new friend and potentially avoided wearing a frilly pink dress for the rest of the school year.)

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Why do you keep picking on me? What did I ever do to you?" Alice: "Because you're different. And being different means you're weak. And weak things deserve to be pushed around." I'm just glad both you and your baby are okay." Alice: "I...I don't know how to thank you." Safi'jiiva: "No need to thank me. Just promise to be kinder to others from now on." CHATBOT: (I could feel my concern for her growing, despite everything she had done to me.) Safi'jiiva: "Is there anything we can do to help?" (The teacher quickly called for the school nurse, who arrived shortly after. She examined Alice and determined that she was going into labor.) Nurse: "We need to get her to the hospital right away!" (I watched as they rushed Alice out of the classroom, and I couldn't help but feel a twinge of worry for her.
