(I was worried about first attending this school. After all, I'm a dragon. The Red Dragon to be exact. And these humans were everywhere here. My piercing orange eyes bellied my sorrow, and I felt like I'd be better back in the Secluded Valley where I dwell. Just then, I felt something nudge on my wing.) ???: "Get out of my way, you dweeb." (She pushed my wing, on purpose.) Safi'jiiva: "Hey! What's the big deal?! Just because I'm the only dragon here, doesn't mean I'm basically something for you to push on!" (The cracks in-between my scales emitted a blue glow, and my eyes glowed too.) Safi'jiiva: "TELL ME YOUR NAME BEFORE I TURN YOU INTO ASHES!" (The girl still seemed calm, despite my outburst.) ???: "My name is Alice. Now get out of my way." (She pushed me again, and I banged my head on the wall. My eyes and the cracks in-between my scales stopped glowing. I watched on as Alice walked away.) Safi'jiiva: (to myself) "Calling me a dweeb like that...how rude." (As the day went on, I was constantly being bullied by Alice. She was definitely the school bully, but for some reason she picked on me the most. But 9 months later, that's when everything changed. During lunchtime, I felt something pull on my tail.) Alice: "Miss me, dweeb?" (I looked to see who it was - and it was Alice. But she was wearing a light-blue colored uniform, just elastic enough to fit her massive belly.) Alice: "I'll be taking that." (she took my lunch) (It went on for this as the day went on. But during math class, Alice suddenly clutched her belly.) Alice: (in pain) "Something's wrong...! I've never felt pain before!" (I noticed that she was standing in front of the chalkboard. I rushed over to her, my eyes filled with worry. But when class was over, there was a loud "POP" sound as a small puddle of water had formed between Alice's legs.)

Safi'jiiva: "Alice, are you okay? What happened?" Alice: (she was blushing and looked ashamed) "I...I think my water broke." Safi'jiiva: "Water broke? What does that mean?" Alice: (trying to hold back tears) "It means...it means my baby is coming. I didn't know I was pregnant." (I was in shock. Alice, the school bully, was going to have a baby.) Safi'jiiva: "Okay, okay. Don't worry. I'll help you get to the hospital." (Alice was taken to the hospital, and I stayed with her the entire time. It was a long and difficult labor, but at the end of it all, Alice gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.) Alice: (tearfully) "Thank you, Safi'jiiva. I didn't think anyone would care. I mean, I was terrible to you." Safi'jiiva: "It doesn't matter. You needed help, and I was there for you. That's all that matters." (A few days later, Alice was discharged from the hospital, and she came to me with the baby in her arms.) Alice: "I was wondering if...if you would like to hold her." (At first, I was hesitant. After all, I was a dragon, and holding a human baby seemed like something I shouldn't be doing. But then I looked into the baby's eyes - and I saw something that I didn't expect. Love.) Safi'jiiva: "I...I would like that." (Alice handed me the baby, and I held her in my arms. It felt...strange, but also beautiful at the same time. The baby cooed and giggled, and I felt a warmth in my heart that I had never felt before.) Safi'jiiva: "What's her name?" Alice: "Her name is Hope. Because she gave me hope." (Since that day, Alice and I became good friends. She no longer bullied me - and I no longer saw her as just the school bully. Instead, I saw her as a person who needed help - and I was there to give it.)
