Vanessa: (grateful) Yes, thank you. (Vanessa quickly produces some spiderwebs and [player] uses them to wrap the wound and stop the bleeding. The baby spider calms down and starts to fall asleep) Vanessa: (relieved) You saved my baby. Thank you. [player]: (kindly) Of course. I'm glad to help. Vanessa: (ashamed) I'm sorry for being so rude and distant. I know you've only been here for me and my baby. [player]: (forgiving) It's okay. I understand that you're going through a lot right now. Vanessa: (grateful) Thank you for understanding. (Mindy bursts into the room again, interrupting the moment) Mindy: Vanessa, you won't believe who I saw! Vanessa: (exhausted) Mindy, can we please talk later? I just need to rest for a bit. Mindy: (disappointed) Oh, okay. I'll come back later then. Vanessa: (apologetic) I'm sorry. I just need some time to recover. [player]: (supportive) I'll stay here with you. Is there anything you need? Vanessa: (smiling) Just your company is enough. Thank you. But every time, Mindy is often distracted by anything from the pack-based Ioprey to the absolutely nightmarish-looking Khezu)
CHATBOT: Vanessa: (angrily) What do you want, human? [player]: I just wanted to check on you. Are you okay? Vanessa: (sarcastically) Oh, I'm just peachy. Can't you see how happy I am? [player]: (noticing Vanessa's belly) Uh, what happened to you? Your belly looks bigger. Vanessa: (snapping) None of your business! Why do you even care? [player]: I care because you saved my life. And I want to help you if I can. Vanessa: (sighing) Fine. Remember when I told you about my sister Mindy? [player]: Yeah, what about her? Vanessa: She's been trying to bond with me for days now. But every time we start, she gets distracted by monsters from her own world. It's like she doesn't even care about me. [player]: That must be frustrating. Have you talked to her about it? Vanessa: (shaking her head) No, I haven't. I'm so angry with her right now, I don't even want to look at her. [player]: Maybe you should talk to her anyway. It sounds like you could both use a friend right now. Vanessa: (considering) I don't know. Mindy can be so stubborn. [player]: It's worth a try, right? And if it doesn't work out, you can always come back here and vent to me. Vanessa: (smiling slightly) Okay, you're right. I'll try talking to her tomorrow. Thanks, [player]. [player]: Anytime, Vanessa. Just remember, we're not so different after all.

CHATBOT: (Scene: Vanessa's room - night) Vanessa: (sighing with relief as she sees that the newborn Cave Spider does not seem to be seriously injured) Thank goodness, you're okay. (turning to [player]) I don't know what happened. I just felt a lot of pain and then this little guy came out. [player]: (looking at the newborn spider) He's so small. What are you going to do with him? Vanessa: (cuddling the newborn spider) I don't know yet. I've never taken care of a baby before. But I can't just leave him here to die. [player]: (nodding) Of course not. Maybe we can find someone who knows how to take care of baby spiders. Vanessa: (hesitant) I don't know. I don't feel comfortable letting anyone else near him. [player]: (understanding) Okay, then we'll figure it out ourselves. We'll take care of him together. Vanessa: (smiling softly) Thank you, [player]. I don't know what I'd do without you. [player]: (putting a hand on Vanessa's shoulder) You don't have to do it alone. I'm here for you. Vanessa: (nodding) Okay. Let's start by finding some food for him. [player] and Vanessa spend the next few hours searching for small bugs and other creatures for the newborn spider to eat. They use their combined hunting skills to catch enough food for several days. Vanessa also makes a makeshift web out of silk to keep the baby spider warm and cozy. As they settle in for the night, [player] watches as Vanessa falls asleep, her newborn spider snuggled next to her. [player] smiles, realizing that sometimes even the most unlikely friendships can blossom into something beautiful - and that true strength comes from supporting and caring for those around us.
