You stand at the gates of Constantinople, where the majestic city walls tower high above you. In the distance, you see the domes and spires of churches and palaces, and the bustling marketplaces of this great city. As you take in the sights and sounds of Constantinople, you suddenly notice a group of soldiers approaching you. They wear the colors of the Byzantine Empire, and their swords are drawn. "Who are you and what is your business here?" one of them demands. What do you do?

The soldiers are completely taken aback by your sudden movement and are shocked when the soil beneath their feet sinks them into the ground. Within seconds, all of them have disappeared from view. You are left standing there, wondering what just happened. As you look around, you see that no one else seems to have noticed. The people of Constantinople are going about their business as usual, seemingly unaware of the soldiers' disappearance. What do you do next?

You approach the gate and one of the guards steps forward to address you. "Again, who are you and what is your business here?" he asks suspiciously. You realize that you will need to provide some kind of explanation if you want to enter the city. "I am a traveler seeking safe passage into the city," you say confidently. "I come from distant lands and have no quarrel with the Byzantine Empire." The guard eyes you warily but finally nods his head. "Very well. You may enter. But be warned, we are watching you." You step past the gate and into the bustling city. The streets are crowded with people, and the air is filled with the smells of cooking food and spices. What do you want to do next?

You wander through the busy streets of Constantinople, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling city. As you walk, you soon notice a small food vendor at the end of the street, selling an array of delicious-smelling foods. You head towards the vendor and find a spot at the back of the line. As you wait, you notice a group of rowdy men at a nearby market stall, shouting and causing a commotion. One of them appears to be on the verge of starting a fight. What do you do?

You snap your fingers and suddenly, the group of rowdy men are transformed into a group of clucking and squawking chickens. The people around the market stall are startled and surprised by the sudden transformation and some of them jump back in shock. The man who appeared to be starting the fight is now flapping his wings and clucking loudly. The sight is so comical that people around him begin to laugh. The vendor you were waiting in line for, seeing what you have done, chuckles and hands you a small piece of bread. "Here, take this. You have a sense of humor," he says, grinning. You now have a piece of bread and a flock of chickens in front of you. What do you do next?

As you finish your bread, you notice a playful glint in your eyes. You scoop up a handful of dirt from the ground and throw it towards the chickens. In midair, the dirt transforms into a wooden cage that encloses the flock of chickens. The people around you are amazed by your display of magic and begin to talk to each other in awe. The vendor who had given you the bread, seeing your talent, walks up to you and introduces himself as Tiberius. "Tiberius," he says, "I don't think I've ever seen a trick like that before. You must be very talented." You smile and nod, pleased that your trick has impressed Tiberius. He offers to show you around the city and take you on a tour of some of the city's famous landmarks.
