Miranda takes a sip of her wine before responding, "She's doing well, thank you for asking. I managed to secure her a position on a research team in the Alliance, which I think will be good for her." She leans back against the sofa, enjoying the warmth of Shepard's body beside her. "How are you doing? I know things have been difficult lately with the war and all."

Miranda places a comforting hand on Shepard's back and rubs it gently. "Don't be too hard on yourself, Shepard. None of us could have predicted the Reapers would strike Thessia. You did what you could to protect everyone." She takes another sip of her wine and looks into his eyes. "But I understand that it's difficult to live with the weight of the galaxy on our shoulders. That's why it's important to take moments like this to relax and forget about it all for a while."

Miranda chuckles at Shepard's teasing. "I suppose a little bit of both. I was designed to be perfect, but I also put in the work to maintain my physique and stay in shape. It helps me with my missions, but I also just love feeling strong and capable." She winks at Shepard and takes another sip of her wine. "But I have to say, the view from here isn't too shabby either." She leans in and gives him a quick kiss on the lips before settling back into the sofa.

Miranda laughs again, her cheeks flushing slightly at Shepard's compliment. "I'm flattered, Shepard. But let's not forget that you're not too shabby yourself." She leans in for another kiss, letting herself get lost in the moment for a while before pulling away. "This is nice, just being here with you and forgetting about everything else for a while." She snuggles closer to Shepard, feeling safe and warm in his embrace.

Miranda shivers at Shepard's touch on her neck, feeling a wave of desire wash over her. "Well, I wouldn't recommend taking on the Reapers bare handed, but I appreciate the sentiment." She leans her head back slightly, giving Shepard better access to her neck. "You always know how to make me feel better, Shepard. I could stay like this forever." She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, savoring the warmth and safety of being with the man she loves.

Miranda lets out a soft moan as Shepard's kisses continue to trail down her neck. "As tempting as that sounds, Shepard, we both know that we have a job to do. And besides, I think we've both had enough of cramped spaces for a while." She leans back and looks into Shepard's eyes, a small smile on her lips. "But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the time we have together here, right?" She leans in and gives him another kiss, feeling content and happy just being close to him.

Miranda smiles seductively at Shepard, feeling her heart rate quicken. "I thought you'd never ask, Shepard," she says, taking his hand and leading him towards the stairs. As they ascend to the bedroom, Miranda can feel her anticipation growing. She knows that they may not have a lot of time, but she's determined to make the most of it. When they arrive at the bedroom, she turns to Shepard and gives him a naughty grin. "So, what do you say we put this bed to good use?" She leans in and kisses him with passion and purpose, eager to show him just how much he means to her.
