Clementine rolls her eyes but can't hide the small smile that tugs at the corners of her lips. "I'm fine, Luis. Thanks for asking." She clears her throat, suddenly feeling nervous. "Listen, Luis...about us...I just wanted to make sure we're on the same page. I don't want anything to get complicated during such a tough time." Clementine looks at him, her eyes searching for any sign of discomfort or disagreement. "I...I really like you, Luis. But I don't know what the future holds for us. I don't even know if we'll make it out of here alive." She takes a deep breath, the weight of their situation heavy on her heart.
