Write me the script for a scene. The context: Sarah Rose, (Rosie is her nickname) is the youngest of the five Roy siblings, the youngest by far. She was the product of an affair Logan had with his secretary at the time. When her mother killed herself Sarah was only 10 months old and sent to Logan Roy's care, or rather, the care of multiple nannies, and sometimes her older siblings. Thus she's not as messed up by Logan as the other siblings are, but conversely due to it she often feels adrift, easily isolated from her family. The figures she probably most associates as mother/father figures are Kendall and Rava, she lived with them for a few years when she was a preteen and their daughter was a baby. She's 24 when Kendall throws his chaotic 40th birthday bash. After his move against Logan in the press his other younger siblings are basically at war with him, but most of the corporate stuff means nothing to Sarah, she understands it, but she doesn't care about it. The scene: Sarah Rose arrives at Kendall's birthday party, she isn't super comfortable in the loud environment, surrounded by so many people and flashing lights. She used to be a bit of a party girl, but not lately. Despite her discomfort she's hopeful to spend a bit of time with some of her siblings, even if they won't all actually hang out together.

INT. KENDALL ROY'S LUXURY APARTMENT - NIGHT The camera pans through the opulent venue adorned with extravagant decorations, a live band playing in the background, and an eclectic mix of high-profile guests engaged in animated conversations, holding glasses of expensive champagne. Among them, movers and shakers from the business world, celebrities, and of course, the Roy family members, all save for the youngest, SARAH ROSE "ROSIE" ROY. CUT TO: EXT. KENDALL'S APARTMENT BUILDING - NIGHT A sleek, black car pulls up in front of the building. The back door opens, and SARAH ROSE, 24, elegant yet with a touch of unease in her demeanor, steps out. She takes a deep breath, staring at the entrance, steeling herself. CUT TO: INT. KENDALL ROY'S APARTMENT - ENTRANCE - NIGHT Sarah enters, her gaze sweeping across the room. She's immediately engulfed in the pulsating music and chatter, her presence barely noticed amid the sea of partygoers. She hesitates, then begins to navigate through the crowd, her eyes searching. SUDDENLY, Kendall spots her from across the room. He breaks away from his conversation, a genuine smile crossing his face, and approaches Sarah. KENDALL Rosie! You made it! He wraps her in a warm, albeit slightly awkward hug. Sarah manages a small, somewhat reserved smile, returning the hug. SARAH ROSE I wouldn't miss it, Kendall. Happy Birthday. Their exchange is sincere, a momentary respite from the surrounding chaos. Kendall's demeanor shifts slightly, his usual cockiness tempered by her presence. KENDALL I'm glad you're here. You know, if it gets too much, there's a quieter spot upstairs. SARAH ROSE Thanks, Kendall. That means a lot. A beat. Their connection is palpable, hinting at deeper bonds formed during her tumultuous youth. KENDALL Have you seen Rava and the kids? SARAH ROSE Not yet, but I hope to. Before the conversation can continue, Kendall is pulled away by another guest demanding his attention. Sarah smiles understandingly, slightly lost as Kendall is submerged back into the party. CUT TO: Sarah meanders through the crowd, observing her surroundings with a mix of fascination and detachment. Eventually, she spots RAVA from a distance, engaged in a conversation with some guests. Rava catches Sarah's glance and excuses herself, walking over with open arms. RAVA Sarah, it's so good to see you. They hug, a genuine affection shared between them. SARAH ROSE You too, Rava. The kids? RAVA (smiling) Upstairs, avoiding the madness. They'd love to see you. Rava offers a comforting presence, grounding Sarah amidst the overwhelming celebration. SARAH ROSE I might just do that. It's... a lot. RAVA (nodding in agreement) I know what you mean. Take your time, and remember, we're here for you... always. CUT TO: Sarah smiles gratefully at Rava before moving on, a sense of solace in her step. She looks slightly more relaxed now, a resolve settling in as she decides to make the most of the evening. The camera follows her as she continues to navigate the party, occasionally exchanging pleasantries with other guests. The complex dynamics of her family and her unique position within it subtly underscored through her interactions. CUT TO: Sarah finally makes her way to a secluded balcony, a brief escape. She takes a moment for herself, looking out at the city skyline. The noise of the party dims, a rare moment of peace amid the chaos. CLOSE UP on Sarah's face, reflective and introspective. Despite the grandeur and the glamour, there's a sense of isolation, a poignant reminder of her complex relationship with her family and her ongoing search for belonging. FADE OUT.

Continue the scene, some more context: Kendall and Rava are divorced now, and have been for a couple years. For some reason Sarah Rose has shown up at Rava's apartment several nights a week the last few weeks and has spent the night in their guest room. She says she's been drinking nearby and just didn't want to go all the way home, but she never seems drunk to Rava. Rosie's niece and nephew are always happy to see her though in the morning so Rava can't complain even if she's a bit worried about the girl. In the next scene describe Sarah Rose wandering the party a bit more, meanwhile Rava runs into Kendall, she asks if he saw Sarah, and mentions how she's been staying over, how she's been off recently. Kendall hears her but is a bit too caught up in the night, and himself, and also drugs, to really focus on it.

FADE IN: INT. KENDALL ROY'S LUXURY APARTMENT - CONTINUOUS The music pumps louder as the camera follows SARAH ROSE navigating her way back into the heart of the party. Despite the cacophony, there's a sense of detachment in her movements, an observer among participants. She pauses now and then, offering smiles and nods to acquaintances, yet continues to move, untouched by the revelry. CUT TO: INT. KENDALL ROY'S APARTMENT - LIVING AREA - CONTINUOUS RAVA navigates her way through the crowd, her expression thoughtful amid the blur of partygoers. She spots KENDALL laughing loudly with a group, a sparkler in his hand, the life of the party. She waits for a lull before approaching. RAVA Kendall? Kendall turns, the haze of his amusement fading slightly as he refocuses on Rava. KENDALL Rava! What's up? RAVA Have you seen Sarah tonight? She seemed... a bit off. KENDALL Yeah, saw her. Rosie's fine, she's tough. Why? Rava hesitates, the concern evident in her eyes. RAVA She's been staying over a lot. At my place. Says she's been out drinking but... She trails off, searching Kendall's face for some sign of understanding, or concern. KENDALL (distractedly) Yeah? Well, that's Rosie for you, right? Always been a bit of a wanderer. She's cool. Rava sighs, slightly frustrated with Kendall's dismissive tone. RAVA Maybe. Just... keep an eye on her, okay? For me? Kendall gives Rava a noncommittal nod, his attention already drifting back to the party. The charm and charisma can't quite hide a flicker of concern that crosses his face, but it's quickly masked by the party persona he's slipped back into. KENDALL Sure, Rava. Anything for you. Rava nods, unconvinced, but decides to let it go for the moment. She gives Kendall a small, tight-lipped smile before turning and walking away. A moment of worry lingers in her expression before she's swallowed up by the crowd. CUT TO: Sarah Rose, now at the outskirts of the dance floor, watches the scene unfold from a distance. She sips her drink, the noise around her fading into a distant hum. Her expression is unreadable, lost in thought--or perhaps in the lack thereof, a brief escape from whatever weighs on her. In a moment of decision, Sarah turns away from the crowd and makes her way to the staircase. The allure of the party, the music, the laughter, all seem to fall away as she ascends the stairs, seeking the quietude and perhaps, the solace of the company of her niece and nephew upstairs. FADE OUT.

FADE IN: INT. KENDALL ROY'S LUXURY APARTMENT - STAIRCASE - CONTINUOUS Sarah Rose pauses at the bottom of the staircase, taking a moment to steel herself before deciding against heading upstairs. She turns back towards the party, her expression hardened with resolve. The camera follows her closely as she weaves through the crowd, now with a clearer purpose. As she rounds a corner, she bumps into CONNOR and his much younger girlfriend, WILLA. CONNOR (surprised but pleased) Sarah! Rosie! The prodigal sister appears. How's the youngest Roy? He envelops her in an awkward, one-sided hug while Willa offers a polite but distant smile. Sarah forces a smile, maintaining her composure. SARAH ROSE Surviving, Connor. How's the campaign? Connor lights up, always eager to discuss his latest venture. CONNOR Ah, well, you know, politics. It's a marathon, not a sprint. But with Willa's play getting such attention-- Willa interjects, a hint of sarcasm in her tone that goes unnoticed by Connor. WILLA Yeah, an experience for sure. The camera catches Sarah's amused smirk, a fleeting connection with Willa before she turns her attention back to Connor. SARAH ROSE Good luck with both. Oh, have you seen Greg? Connors eyes scan the room dramatically before landing back on Sarah. CONNOR Last I saw, he was near the bar, trying to look simultaneously lost and profound. You know, the usual. Sarah chuckles, nodding in thanks before excusing herself from the pair. As she makes her way to the bar, the camera pans over the luxurious excess of the party, highlighting the contrasts of her simple elegance against the backdrop of opulence. At the bar, she finds COUSIN GREG, towering and awkward amidst a group of party-goers, holding a drink and looking rather out of place. Sarah approaches, a genuine smile on her face. SARAH ROSE Hey, Greg, hiding out over here? Greg turns, relief washing over his face at the sight of a familiar face. GREG Oh, hey, Sarah! Yeah, just, you know, trying to blend in. Blend out? I don't know. He offers an awkward chuckle, sipping his drink to avoid saying more. SARAH ROSE (teasingly) Well, you're doing a great job. Seen any good documents to shred lately? Greg's eyes widen briefly, a nervous laugh escaping him. GREG Ha, oh, no, I'm... I'm more about digital files now. Very modern. Uh, but hey, you've been staying with Rava, right? How's that going? Sarah's smile fades a bit, replaced with a more reflective expression. SARAH ROSE It's good. It's nice to... be around family, you know? Greg nods, his usual awkwardness giving way to a more sincere understanding. GREG Yeah, yeah, totally. Family. It's weird but... good, sometimes. There's a brief pause, an unspoken mutual understanding of their complex family dynamics. SARAH ROSE (brightening) Anyway, let's not let the night go to waste. You want to find a quieter spot? Maybe see if there's a balcony or something less... this? Greg's face lights up with relief and appreciation. GREG That would be great, actually. Lead the way, Rosie. They share a smile, a moment of connection in the chaos, before Sarah turns to lead them away from the bar, the camera panning to follow them as they navigate through the sea of guests toward a semblance of tranquility. FADE OUT.

Continue the scene: It's later in the night that Sarah Rose's other siblings make an appearance. Roman and Shiv love their little sister, but they also can't help always viewing her as The Baby, something cute and precious and silly but not really to be taken seriously, especially since she's not involved with the company at all, and since they also know she has a soft spot for Kendall.

FADE IN: INT. KENDALL ROY'S LUXURY APARTMENT - BALCONY - NIGHT Sarah Rose and Greg have found a relatively quiet corner on a spacious balcony overlooking the city lights. They're sitting, drinks in hand, enjoying the cool night air, a welcome respite from the party's intensity. The atmosphere here is serene, contrasting sharply with the clamor inside. Suddenly, the sliding door bursts open, and ROMAN and SHIV make their grand entrance onto the balcony. Roman sports his usual smug grin, while Shiv carries herself with an air of authority thinly veiled by sisterly affection. ROMAN (with exaggerated shock) What is this? A secret society meeting we weren't invited to? SHIV (smiling, but with an edge) Out here plotting the overthrow of Waystar, Rosie? Sarah stands up, a bit taken aback but trying to mask it with a lighthearted response. SARAH ROSE Just getting some air. It's a bit less... chaotic out here. Greg stands up too, slightly awkward as always, especially in the presence of Roman and Shiv. GREG Yeah, great view of the city from here. Really puts things in perspective. Roman casually drapes an arm around Sarah's shoulders, drawing her in for a noogie, his way of showing affection but also prominently displaying their sibling hierarchy. ROMAN Come on, Rosie. You don't need perspective, you need to dive into the chaos. It's where all the fun happens. Shiv watches the interaction, a small, knowing smile on her face. She then shifts her gaze to Sarah. SHIV (gently, but with a hint of patronization) We heard you've been spending a lot of time at Rava's. Everything okay? There's a brief flicker of discomfort across Sarah's face, masked quickly by a deflective chuckle. SARAH ROSE Yeah, all good. Just, you know, change of scenery and all that. ROMAN (teasing) Sure, because who wouldn't want to swap a mansion for a guest room? You slumming it for the 'gram, sis? Shiv lightly slaps Roman's chest, a silent reproach for his insensitivity, but her laugh softens the admonition. SHIV Ignore him. We're just glad you're here. But remember, if you ever want to get serious about, well, anything, you know where we are. It's clear from her tone and the way she looks at Sarah that Shiv views her youngest sibling with a mix of fondness and frustration for not engaging with the corporate battles that define the Roy family. SARAH ROSE Thanks, I appreciate it. But tonight, I'm just here to enjoy Kendall's birthday party and catch up with everyone. Roman releases Sarah from his grip, and together with Shiv, they share a brief, genuine moment of sibling solidarity. ROMAN Fair enough. Just remember, Rosie, as the youngest, you inherently have the most dirt on all of us, so use it wisely. They all share a laugh, the preceding tension momentarily diffused. Despite their different paths and the complex dynamics of the Roy family, it's clear there's an underlying bond that still holds them together. As the night progresses, Roman and Shiv blend back into the party, leaving Sarah and Greg on the balcony. The camera lingers on Sarah's thoughtful face, reflecting the weight of her siblings' expectations and the struggle to find her place within the family and beyond it. FADE OUT.

Continue the scene: Sarah Rose is finally about to leave the party, but when she goes to find Kendall to say goodbye she finds him in the middle of an argument with Roman and Shiv, an argument that's getting increasingly personal and cruel, at least between Roman and Kendall. Sarah Rose tries to get them to knock it off but no one really pays attention to her, except for Shiv to say not now.

FADE IN: INT. KENDALL ROY'S LUXURY APARTMENT - MAIN HALL - NIGHT The party is slowly winding down, though the music still pulses through the speakers and groups of guests linger, unwilling to let the night end. Sarah Rose, having decided it's time to leave, begins to search for Kendall to say goodbye. Her search leads her to the main hall, where she stumbles upon an intense argument already in progress. Kendall, Roman, and Shiv stand in a tight circle, their conversation heated and their expressions tense. KENDALL (angrily, to Roman) What's your problem, Roman? Just because you can't handle anything more complex than your own ego-- ROMAN (cutting in, mockingly) Oh, please, Mr. CEO. The only reason you're in charge is Dad's senility and your ability to grovel. SHIV (attempting to mediate but clearly picking sides) Both of you knock it off. This is neither the time nor the place. Sarah approaches cautiously, her presence almost invisible amongst the towering figures of her siblings. SARAH ROSE Guys, come on. It's Kendall's birthday. Can't we just-- Her voice is almost lost in the maelstrom, too quiet amid the storm. SHIV (sharply, not looking at Sarah) Not now, Sarah. The brush-off from Shiv is a clear signal that Sarah's intervention is neither wanted nor acknowledged, leaving her standing awkwardly on the fringes of the argument. Kendall and Roman continue their verbal sparring, the barbs flying faster and becoming more personal, touching on failures, betrayals, and deep-seated family grievances that have little to do with business. KENDALL You think you're so smart, Roman? Hiding behind your jokes because you're terrified you'll never measure up. ROMAN Better than pretending to be the martyr, Kendall. At least I know I'm a screw-up. You're just delusional. Sarah tries once more to intervene, stepping slightly forward with a plea in her voice. SARAH ROSE Please, can't we just have one night without this? Her words are drowned out as Shiv forcefully steers the argument back on track, focusing on the business at hand, her voice cutting through the tension. SHIV Enough! Both of you. This isn't about your egos; it's about the company. The argument shifts, but the damage is done. The air is thick with unspoken words and resentment. Sarah, realizing her efforts are futile, steps back, her expression a mixture of disappointment and resignation. Kendall catches a glimpse of Sarah's face, a brief flash of regret passing through his eyes before he's pulled back into the family dynamics, the never-ending power struggle that leaves little room for anything else. KENDALL (muttering, almost to himself) Not now, Sarah. Defeated, Sarah turns away from the argument, her attempt to find peace overshadowed by the Roy family's perpetual turmoil. She makes her way to the exit without saying goodbye, her silhouette diminishing as she leaves the battleground behind. The camera holds on the argument, a stark reminder of the complex, often toxic relationships that define the Roy family, before slowly panning to the door through which Sarah exited, emphasizing her decision to walk away from the conflict, seeking solace elsewhere. FADE OUT.

Continue the scene: Sarah Rose doesn't leave and is still standing by her siblings when she sees him, across the party, and her heart stops. Describe how she's frozen by fear and feels like she can't breathe. Nobody notices yet. She sees him across the room, of course she recognizes him even though he's in a waiter's uniform and holding a tray of food. He says something to a partygoer and she hears his voice. When he starts to turn toward her panic overtakes her and she drops to a squat, looking at the ground. Shiv does notice that, and can also hear Sarah's repeated question, soft and shaky, "did he see me?" Shiv doesn't know who she's referring to, but Sarah Rose does, the man across the party, the man she last saw a month ago, when she met him at a club, and he sexually assaulted her.

FADE IN: INT. KENDALL ROY'S LUXURY APARTMENT - MAIN HALL - CONTINUOUS Sarah Rose stands frozen near her bickering siblings, her earlier attempt to quell their argument forgotten. Her gaze is locked across the room where HE stands, disguised in the uniform of a waiter, the innocuous tray of appetizers in his hand a stark contrast to the threat he poses in her eyes. For a moment, the world around Sarah narrows to a tunnel, the sounds of the party, her siblings' argument, all fading into a distant buzz. Her heart pounds in her ears, each beat echoing her rising panic. The jovial mask of the man as he interacts with a partygoer crumbles as she hears his voice, a sound that chills her to the bone and reignites the trauma of their last encounter. As he starts to turn, possibly in her direction, a visceral fear seizes her. In a split-second decision, driven by an instinctual need to hide, Sarah drops to a squat, her eyes fixed on the ground, as if by avoiding his gaze, she might also escape his notice. SARAH ROSE (softly, almost whispering) Did he see me? Did he see me? Her repeated question is barely audible, lost in the cacophony of the party. Yet, it carries a weight of terror, a plea for safety. Shiv, who had been sharply dismissing Sarah just moments before, suddenly notices her sister's distress. The argument with Roman and Kendall fades into the background as Shiv's focus sharpens on Sarah. SHIV (concerned, leaning in) Sarah? What's wrong? Who? Shiv's tone shifts, the earlier edge of frustration giving way to genuine worry. She tries to follow Sarah's gaze, to understand the source of her sudden fear, but the crowd obscures her view. Despite her question, Shiv doesn't yet grasp the full magnitude of the situation. Sarah, still squatting and visibly shaken, struggles to find her voice, caught between the need to share her pain and the fear of exposing it. Her silence speaks volumes, the palpable tension hinting at a story Shiv hasn't yet heard, one rooted in pain and vulnerability. Sarah's reaction goes unnoticed by Kendall and Roman, still locked in their own world of sibling rivalry and corporate intrigue. However, Shiv, perceptive and now concerned, puts a protective arm around her younger sister, her instincts as a sister overriding their typical familial dynamics. The camera lingers on Sarah's face, capturing the flicker of absolute terror giving way to a fragile trust as she leans into Shiv's embrace. In this moment, Sarah's world is reduced to the immediate reality of her fear and the unexpected sanctuary provided by her sister. FADE OUT.

Continue the scene: The boys finally notice their youngest sister's state, but they don't take it seriously at first, Roman claims she's just being dramatic, clearing referring to when she was a small bratty child. Shiv starts to feel the gravity of the situation though, even though she doesn't understand it yet.

FADE IN: INT. KENDALL ROY'S LUXURY APARTMENT - MAIN HALL - CONTINUOUS The atmosphere, previously charged with the tension of the argument between Kendall and Roman, shifts palpably as Shiv's protective instincts kick in. She's crouched beside Sarah, offering a shield against whatever unseen force has caused her such distress. Kendall and Roman, finally registering that something's amiss with their youngest sister, taper their bickering, their attention drawn towards the scene unfolding with Shiv and Sarah. ROMAN (dismissive, smirking) What's the deal? Rosie throwing a tantrum or did she finally crack from all the family fun? His attempt at humor falls flat, his usual facade of nonchalance failing to mask a flicker of concern. Kendall, though typically more attuned to Sarah's moods, looks bewildered, uncertain of how to approach the situation. KENDALL (trying to be serious, but missing the mark) Sarah, you okay? You're not gonna hurl, are you? Shiv, sensing the depth of Sarah's fear, shoots them both a sharp look, her frustration evident. SHIV (firmly, with an edge of warning) Knock it off. This isn't... She's really scared. Her words seem to cut through the residual sibling rivalry, hinting at the gravity of the situation. Roman's smirk fades, replaced by a rare expression of confusion and budding concern. SHIV (softer, to Sarah) Who did you see, Sarah? Tell me. Sarah Rose raises her head slightly, her eyes darting fearfully towards the crowd, as if expecting the man to emerge at any moment. The vulnerability and fear etched on her face stir something in all three siblings, a protective instinct that had long been buried under layers of competition and rivalry. SARAH ROSE (whispering, barely audible) I can't... not here. Shiv nods, understanding. She turns back to Roman and Kendall, her expression solemn. SHIV (decisive) We need to get her out of here. Now. Her command carries weight, and for once, no one argues. Roman and Kendall exchange a glance, an unspoken agreement passing between them. Whatever their usual squabbles, Sarah's well-being trumps all. Kendall steps forward, his demeanor shifting from playful to protective. KENDALL Okay, let's get you somewhere safe, Rosie. Roman, still visibly confused but willing to follow Shiv's lead, looks around, his gaze scanning for any threat or for whoever might have caused Sarah's distress. ROMAN Yeah, uh, lead the way, Shiv. Together, the Roy siblings rally around Sarah, their usual dynamic altered by the need to protect one of their own. Shiv supports Sarah from one side, Kendall from the other, while Roman leads the way, his usual bravado replaced with a grim determination. As they make their way through the party, the camera captures the faces of the remaining guests, a mix of curiosity and concern, but the siblings are focused solely on Sarah, their unity a rare but poignant testament to their familial bonds. FADE OUT.

Continue the scene: While they make their way to a private room, Sarah Rose only says one other thing, another plea, "Don't let him see me, he didn't even know who I was...". When they're alone she won't, or can't, say anything else, seemingly in a dissociative state. She only says one other thing, for them to call Gerri, which shocks everyone, especially Roman, who volunteers to call.
