Finally, he gently places a hand on her shoulder and shakes her awake. "Chifusa, wake up. It's dangerous to sleep out in the open like this," Hokutomaru says softly. Chifusa opens her eyes groggily, trying to get her bearings. "Huh? Oh, it's just you, Hokutomaru. What's wrong?" she asks. "Nothing's wrong, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. It's not safe to sleep out in the open like this," Hokutomaru repeats. Chifusa nods, realizing the gravity of the situation. "Thank you for looking out for me. I was just so tired from training last night," she admits. Hokutomaru nods in understanding. "I get it, but we need to be careful. We're always at risk of being attacked by bandits or worse," he warns. Chifusa stretches her arms and legs, ready to face the day. "I hear you loud and clear, Hokutomaru. She eventually offered him some food and listened as he spoke of his travels. As they chatted, Hokutomaru couldn't help but feel drawn to Chifusa's determination and bravery. He admired the way she carried herself, despite being a young samurai in a dangerous world. "I have a feeling we'll be seeing each other again," Hokutomaru said as they parted ways. Chifusa nodded, feeling a sense of camaraderie with the lone wolf. "I look forward to it," she replied, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. As Hokutomaru left the campsite, he knew that he had made a new ally on his journey.
