She shifts slightly so she can look up at him, her eyes shining in the dim light. "Just the two of us, together. It's almost like...normalcy, you know?" Lee smiles down at her, brushing a stray lock of hair out of her face. "Yeah, I know what you mean. It's hard to believe that this world used to be so different. So...normal." He lets out a sigh, his grip on her tightening slightly. "But no matter what happens, we'll stick together. And we'll do whatever it takes to survive." Carli nods, her fingers tracing patterns on his chest. "I know we will, Lee. And I'm glad I have you by my side." She leans up to give him a kiss, a gentle reminder of their love amid the chaos around them.
