Black tendrils extend from the TV, wrapping themselves around Nancy's limbs, neck, and finally, her chest. The thin ropes of darkness are searing with ice-cold fire. NANCY (Struggling to breathe) Please... stop. MIND FLAYER (COMMANDING) Serve me, and your suffering will end. As Nancy's eyelids begin to flutter, the air starts to dissipate around her body. As she completely runs out of air, the darkness begins to consume her. She submits. NANCY (GASPS) Yes, I'll help you. Just please, let me go. The Mind Flayer LAUGHS sinisterly as the darkness crumbles away from Nancy's body, allowing her to breathe again, but her eyes flicker red for a moment before returning to normal. Students around them start screaming and running as they feel the temperature drop in sink in the room. JONATHAN Whatever you want with her, leave her alone! We stopped you before and we will do it again! NANCY (MIND FLAYER) (smirking unnaturally) You underestimate my power. Implementing a vessel as one of your own is but the beginning. The black smoke is trapped inside, sparking and writhing, unable to escape. Nancy gasps for air as the possession ends. She's weak, but alive.
