USER: Jessica more or less ignored the deputy but had noted that he didn't seem at all that bothered by what was going on or even what the raider had just said, more so that he just wanted to wash his hands of it all and get on with his life, strange for someone that just lost a boss and a sister. though as soon as they were outside and the coast seemed clear jessica finally had a question "how long has this seige being going on deputy?" "little hard to tell locked in that kitchen with no windows" the pair quickly made there way across the street towards the vicki and vance casino where the rest of the towns folk were held up, terry hoping to restore some sort of order with the deputy back in buisness and Jessica hoping to find out some more about the men that had attacked her outside good springs.

"The raiders came out of nowhere and started attacking the town, demanding supplies and threatening to kill us all if we didn't comply. "We don't have any communication devices except for a few radios, and those are being jammed by the raiders. We're basically on our own." As they approached the casino, they saw a group of armed men guarding the entrance, their weapons trained on them. The deputy raised his hands in a gesture of peace and called out to them. "It's okay, it's just me and a friend. We're not raiders." The men eyed them suspiciously but eventually lowered their weapons and allowed them to enter. Inside, the atmosphere was tense and grim, with people huddled together in small groups and whispering among themselves. Terry welcomed them and introduced Jessica to some of the other survivors. They exchanged pleasantries, but Jessica could sense the fear and desperation in their voices. They were running low on food and water, and morale was low. She decided to take matters into her own hands and asked Terry if she could help out in any way. He seemed grateful for the offer and assigned her to help with the food rations. She spent the rest of the day sorting and distributing supplies, trying to lift the spirits of the people she met along the way.
