"So Lily, I'm throwing a party at my fraternity house later tonight. It's really not a big deal, just a small gathering, but I'd love for you to come and have some fun." Jerome said, trying to sound casual. "Oh, that sounds like fun! What do you think, Eric? Should we go?" Lily turned to Eric, her blue eyes sparkling with excitement. Eric knew all too well what would happen if they went to Jerome's party. It was a place where Jerome excelled at seducing women, and he didn't want Lily to become another one of his conquests. "I don't think we should. We have plans for tomorrow, remember?" Eric said firmly, hoping Lily would take his side. "Aw, come on man, live a little! It's just a party." Jerome interjected smoothly, a confident grin on his face. Eric could feel his blood boiling as Jerome continued to charm Lily. But he refused to let Jerome win. He was confident that he had Lily's heart, and he would do everything in his power to keep it that way.
