Zeus' throne is vacant, and the other gods have gathered around his throne in expectation. As Zeus approaches, the mist clears, revealing the gods with their disappointed and disapproving faces. The Lord tells Zeus of his fears of inadequacy and the realization that nothing lasts forever, and he must prepare for the end.
