We'll keep trying. Someday, we will have healthy spiderlings. Vanessa: (hopelessly) How can we go on like this, Araneas? Every time we try, we only end up with disappointment and heartbreak. Araneas: (gently) We have each other, Vanessa. We will find a way to persevere. (Player enters the spider den) Player: (noticing the sadness in the spider sisters) Is everything okay? Araneas: (pausing, then speaking honestly) No. We're going through a tough time. Just lost another set of spiderlings. Player: (sympathetically) I'm sorry to hear that. Vanessa: (suddenly becoming agitated) Why do we even bother? What's the point of trying when we can never keep them alive? Araneas: (calming her sister) Don't think like that, Vanessa.
