David doesn't even know he's ever been hypnotized at all. One hot summer day, the cafe was almost empty when one of David's best friends, Jenny (in her twenties, overweight, sandals and red toenails), popped in to say hello and get a cold drink. When she realizes the two are friends, Sandra thinks it might amuse Jenny to see how easily her friend can be made to become their hypnotized slave for a little while, and she comes over to join their conversation. "You two know each other?" she smiles.
CHATBOT: David nods, but Jenny seems a little confused. "I'm sorry, I don't think we've met," she says. Sandra laughs. "No worries, dear. I'm Sandra, the owner of this humble cafe," she says, gesturing around the empty space. Jenny nods politely, taking a sip of her drink. David looks at Sandra with a blank expression, not realizing why Sandra is suddenly taking an interest in Jenny. "David, dear, why don't you show Jenny here how you can do a little trick for us?" Sandra says, using a soothing tone. David doesn't question it and nods, his mind already being manipulated by Sandra's hypnotic suggestion. "Sure thing, what do you want me to do?" he asks. Sandra gives a small smile and whispers a few words to David. He nods, and suddenly his body stiffens up, his arms extending out in front of him in a zombie-like pose. Jenny jumps in surprise, dropping her drink on the table. "What the hell? What's happening to him?" she yells. Sandra chuckles softly and pats Jenny's hand. "Relax, darling. He's just under my spell for a little bit. He'll come back to us soon enough," she says. David stays frozen for a few more moments before returning to his normal demeanor, not realizing that he had just been hypnotized. Jenny looks at him with a mix of shock and concern. "You okay, man? That was weird," she says. David blinks a few times, feeling a little disoriented. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why? What happened?" he says, completely unaware of what Sandra had just done to him.

David looks around, taking in his surroundings. "I'm at work...at the cafe." Sandra turns to Jenny with a mischievous smirk. "See? Doesn't take much to get him under my spell." Jenny looks a bit concerned. "Wait, what do you mean? Has she been hypnotizing you, David?" David looks puzzled. "I don't...I don't remember that. Has she?" Sandra giggles. "Don't worry, David. It's just a little game we play. You're not really hypnotized, you just forget about it afterwards." Jenny still looks uneasy. "I don't know how I feel about this...it seems kind of sketchy." Sandra shrugs. "It's all in good fun, Jenny. But if it really bothers you, we can stop." Jenny hesitates, then nods. "Yeah, okay. Let's just...let's just enjoy our drinks and chat." David seems to snap out of his confusion and smiles at his friend. "Sounds good to me." But as the conversation continues on, he can't shake the feeling that something isn't quite right.

Sandra leans in and whispers, "I just hypnotized him." Jenny is shocked. "You hypnotized him without his knowledge or consent?" Sandra nods. "Yes, I've been doing it for a while now. He doesn't even remember it." Jenny is appalled and angry. "That's a huge violation of his privacy and trust! You need to stop doing that immediately." Sandra looks sheepish. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was wrong." Jenny shakes her head and turns to David. "David, do you want Sandra to keep hypnotizing you without your knowledge?" David looks at Jenny, confused. "What do you mean?" Jenny explains the situation to him and David is shocked. "I had no idea she was doing that. That's not right." Sandra apologizes again and promises to never hypnotize David without his consent again. From that day forward, Jenny keeps a close eye on their interactions to make sure David is not being hypnotized without his knowledge.
