Now, I want you to kneel down in front of me and kiss my feet," Sandra commands again. Jenny's jaw drops as David obeys Sandra's command without hesitation, kissing her feet submissively. "Excellent. Now, David, I want you to remember this feeling, and every time you see me, you will feel compelled to obey my every command," Sandra says, patting him on the head. It's as though David really is completely under Sandra's control. His eyes are still closed, and he obeys her every command without hesitation. Eventually, Sandra snaps her fingers again and David blinks, shaking his head as though coming out of a daze. "What... what just happened?" he asks, looking confused. Sandra laughs. "Nothing, nothing," she says, waving her hand dismissively. "Just a little joke. Did you want anything else to drink, Jenny?" But as Jenny continues to stare at David, now looking perfectly normal and un-hypnotized, she can't help but feel unsettled. It's one thing to know that hypnosis exists, but to see it in action - and to see someone being used as a puppet with such ease - is another thing entirely. She leaves the cafe quickly, feeling deeply disturbed.
