What's going on?" she asks, looking to Stella for answers. "Oh, David's just really focused on his work sometimes," Stella says dismissively, hiding the fact that she just hypnotized him again. David starts to feel uneasy, not sure why he can't remember doing any hypnosis before. "I really don't feel comfortable doing it, Stella." Stella narrows her eyes, her voice becoming firmer. "David, listen to me. I want you to go into a deep relaxation state and follow all of my suggestions. Just like how I've done before." David feels a wave of drowsiness wash over him, his eyelids becoming heavy. Without even realizing it, he's back under Stella's control. "David, when you wake up, you will remember all of our hypnosis sessions together. And you'll feel grateful towards me for helping you relax and feel so good. And anytime I say the word 'sleep', you'll instantly go back into this state, ready to listen to my every command," Stella whispers. Victoria watches in shock, realizing what's happening. She quickly stands up and slams some cash on the counter. "I think I'll get my drink somewhere else. I don't feel comfortable with what's happening," she says sternly before marching out of the cafe. Stella smirks to herself, looking down at David who's now spacing out. "Good boy," she whispers.

He's in a deeply relaxed state, and when he comes out of it, he won't remember any of this conversation." Victoria's eyes widened. "You've hypnotized him?" she whispered in disbelief, her previous skepticism about hypnotism now crumbling. "Can you make him do anything you want?" Stella nodded, her grin widening. "Yes, but I always make sure it's harmless and amusing. Watch this." She snapped her fingers in front of David's face, and he instantly straightened up. "David, I want you to believe you're a chicken, pecking at seeds on the cafe floor." Much to Victoria's astonishment, David immediately began mimicking the movements of a chicken, bobbing his head up and down as he pecked at the imaginary seeds on the floor. He squawked and clucked, flapping his "wings" and looking every bit as if he truly believed he was a chicken. Victoria couldn't help but laugh, even as she felt a mixture of unease and awe at Stella's control over her best friend. Eventually, she managed to compose herself and spoke up. "Alright, Stella, that's enough. Let's bring him back." Stella winked, and with another snap of her fingers, David stopped his chicken antics, standing upright once again. Whenever I say a certain phrase, David is going to do whatever you tell him." Victoria looks shocked, "What?! You can't just control his mind like that!" Stella shrugs, "It's harmless fun. Besides, he won't remember any of it." Victoria reluctantly agrees and they head back out to the cafe, where David is now sitting at a table, blankly staring ahead. Stella leans in and whispers the phrase in Victoria's ear. "David, go buy Victoria whatever drink she wants." David immediately gets up and heads to the counter, where Victoria orders a lemonade. Stella laughs, "This is too good." Victoria feels uneasy about the whole situation, but decides to play along for a bit. She whispers the phrase to Stella and commands David to do a silly dance. David does the dance, completely unaware of what he's doing. The two girls giggle and continue to have David do silly tasks for their entertainment. Eventually, Victoria feels guilty and tells Stella to stop. "This isn't right. We need to snap him out of this." Stella nods and whispers another phrase to David, "Wake up." David blinks several times, looking around confused. "What happened?" Stella just smiles, "Nothing, David. You just had a bit of a short nap." Victoria can't help but feel disturbed by what just happened. She quickly finishes her drink and makes an excuse to leave. As she's walking out, she can't help but wonder what other things Stella has made David do without his knowledge.
