The air was tense, as if jolted with electricity, as the two combatants prepared their weapons and tactics for a clash between their unique abilities. The ground cracked beneath Bete's feet as she surged forward on a path of destruction, seeking an early and decisive advantage. Her spear of fear, pulsing with shimmering pink energies seemed to hint at the terrifying fate awaiting the one who crossed its path. Unfortunately for Bete, Dio was ready with his own strategies: one moment, he stood defiantly before her, ready to counter her assault, the next - frozen in time. Bete couldn't follow his movements, and only noticed her confusion when it was too late; indeed, Dio's powerful Stand, The World, had intervened, stopping time briefly to avoid her attack. In a lightning-fast flash, Dio unleashed a blast of his moisture freeze, narrowly grazing Bete's shoulder. This sent her tumbling off balance before the world unfroze, the first strike launching her into a wall from the impact. However, instead of being crippled by fear and injury, Bete grit her teeth and drew upon her immense power to instantly recover and regenerate the damage to her shoulder, ignoring the pain as she prepped her next move. Against anyone else, this display of resilience would have been disheartening, but Dio simply smiled, excited by the challenge that Bete presented. As Bete summoned the Scythe of Fear, created by her loyal companion Akumu, she also utilized her pyrokinesis power, engulfing the scythe in deadly flames to assault the vampire Dio. Meanwhile, Dio prepared his next attack - Space Ripper Stingy Eyes - with an evil grin. A storm of fire and blood erupted between the two nefarious fighters as their powers collided, the sharp tongues of flame and razor-precise lasers tearing apart much of their surroundings.
