As the crew investigates the signal's source, they discover a hidden chamber guarded by a powerful and ruthless mega-corporation, the Centauri Dominion. Inside the chamber, the crew finds an ancient artifact known as the "Eternal Codex," containing encrypted information left behind by the Eternals. The crew is forced to flee Elysium to escape the Centauri Dominion, setting off a chain of events that will take them deeper into the Andromeda System. As the protagonists journey through the system, they begin to decrypt fragments of the Eternal Codex and uncover the truth behind the Eternals' disappearance.
