She lunged at him again, but Orange was ready this time. He sidestepped her attack and landed a hard kick to her stomach. Esther stumbled back, but quickly regained her balance. "Oh, you're going to regret that," she hissed, charging at Orange with renewed vigor. The two battled back and forth, each delivering blows to the other. Orange was fueled by a desire to protect his world, while Esther seemed to enjoy the violence and chaos she was causing. As the battle raged on, Orange could feel his strength waning. He knew he couldn't keep up this pace forever. But he also knew that he couldn't give up. Not now, not when so much was at stake. "You're nothing but a worthless little stick figure," Esther mocked. The former sheriff's heart raced as he reached for his gun, but before he could even draw, Orange snapped his fingers and the gun disappeared. Shane instinctively stepped back, but Orange's staff was already whizzing through the air, poised to strike. Shane took a swing with his fists, but Orange expertly dodged and countered with a powerful blow that sent Shane flying across the clearing. Shane scrambled back to his feet, panting heavily as he searched for something, anything he could use to defend himself. Orange made no move to attack him, his stoic expression unchanging as he watched Shane's every move. "You don't talk much, huh?" Shane said, his voice shaky with fear. "What are you, some kind of freak?" Orange didn't respond, but his staff began to glow with an eerie green light. Shane raised his hands, ready to defend himself, but it was too late. A wave of energy burst forth from the staff, knocking Shane to the ground and leaving his body writhing in agony. But Shane wasn't one to give up easily. He gritted his teeth and scrambled back to his feet, drawing a knife from his belt. Orange simply observed as Shane charged forward, the knife gleaming in the sunlight. But Orange was ready. He sidestepped Shane's attack and sent a jolt of electricity through his staff, causing Shane to convulse and drop the knife. With a last burst of energy, Orange created a portal beneath Shane's feet, causing him to fall into a bottomless pit. "You don't understand," Shane groaned, his voice barely above a whisper. "We're all infected. We're all going to die." Orange remained silent, watching as Shane slipped into the void. When he was gone, Orange turned and disappeared, leaving no trace of his presence behind.
