Story permutations group this user's prompts into themes based on how similar their wording or meaning is. Click a group to see how the user's prompts evolved: within a selected group, each prompt is shown as a word-level diff against the previous one — green marks text the user added, and red strike-through marks text they removed. This reveals how the user revised, expanded, or pruned their prompts as they iterated. Jump to methodology →

CHATBOT: Jane and Sam are sitting in the park, with the sun shining down on them. Sam: (flapping her hands rapidly) "Oh my god, Jane, this is amazing! The sun feels so good on my skin! Do you feel it too?" Jane: (smiling) "I feel it, Sam. It's really nice out." Sam: (bouncing up and down, shifting her weight from side to side) "I can hardly contain myself! I'm so happy right now!" Jane: (placing her hand on Sam's back) "I know, Sam. I love seeing you like this. What else is making you so happy?" Sam: (tapping her foot rapidly) "The birds are chirping and it's so calming. And the people playing frisbee over there? The sound of the frisbee swooshing through the air is amazing." Jane: (nodding) "I hear it too. It's really nice." Sam: (rocking back and forth) "I'm sorry if I'm being too much right now. My stims are just really intense." Jane: (smiling) "You never have to apologize for being yourself, Sam. I love your stims. They make you who you are." Sam: (twirling her hair around her finger) "Thank you, Jane. I feel safe and understood with you." Jane: (putting her arm around Sam) "Always, Sam. Always."

CHATBOT: INT. JANE'S ROOM - DAY Jane is sitting at her desk, doing her homework. Sam bursts into the room, waving her hands and bouncing up and down. SAM: Jane, Jane, Jane! You won't believe what just happened! JANE: (smiling) What's up, Sam? SAM: (excitedly) I went to the store with my mom, and they had new gluten-free cookies! Sam starts flapping her hands while she talks. SAM: And they were on sale, so we got two boxes, and I'm... I'm just so excited! Sam jumps up and down a few times, then starts pacing back and forth. SAM: I can't wait to try them, I bet they're delicious! JANE: (gently) Hey, Sam, maybe you should take a deep breath and slow down a bit. Sam nods, takes a deep breath and stands still for a moment. SAM: Sorry, Jane. I just get so excited sometimes, and I want to share it with you. JANE: (smiling) I know you do, and I love that about you. But maybe we can work on taking small breaks in between stims, so you don't get too overwhelmed. Sam nods, and starts to twirl a strand of her hair. SAM: You're right. Okay, I'm going to try that. (pauses) Hey, what are you working on? Jane goes over to her desk and shows Sam her homework. JANE: Biology. I'm supposed to draw a diagram of a cell. Sam starts tapping her fingers on her leg. SAM: Ooh, can I help? I love biology! JANE: (smiling) Of course you can. You're my favorite biology expert. Sam grins widely and starts to bounce up and down again. Jane laughs and joins in. FADE TO BLACK.

The train set, the flags, and the SpongeBob plush! JANE: (trying to calm Sam down) Sam, we can only afford one thing. Maybe we can come back and get the others another time. SAM: (getting more upset) No! I want it all now! (throws a tantrum and starts to knock over toys) SHOPLIFTERS: (giving disapproving looks and whispering to each other) JANE: (frustrated) Sam, please calm down. You're causing a scene and the other shoppers are getting upset. SAM: (lashing out) I don't care about them! I want what I want! JANE: (gently) I know you do, but we can only afford the SpongeBob plush right now. It's on sale, remember? SAM: (still upset) But that's not fair! Why can't I have everything I want? SHOPPER 1: (walking by and overhearing the conversation) Excuse me, is everything alright here? JANE: (apologetic) Yes, my girlfriend has autism and is having a hard time coping right now. SHOPPER 1: (sympathizing) Oh, I see. Well, if there's anything I can do to help, just let me know. SHOPPER 2: (rolling her eyes) Can't you control your kid? Some people have no parenting skills. JANE: (defensive) She's not my kid, she's my girlfriend. And she can't help it, she's overwhelmed right now. SAM: (still upset) I want everything! JANE: (firmly) Sam, that's enough. We're leaving now. SAM: (calming down slightly) Can we come back and get the other things later? JANE: (smiling) Of course, we can make a plan. But now we need to go. SAM: (nodding) Okay. SHOPS now shifting back to normal, customers going back to shopping. JANE: (whispering to Sam) Thank you for calming down. SAM: (whispering back) Sorry for causing a scene.

(Sam looks relieved and happy as they bring the plush to the checkout line. Some shoppers smile at the two girls while others still look disapproving.) (Jane notices Sam beginning to throw toys and hurt shoppers) Jane: (gently) Hey, let's take a deep breath and try to calm down. We can figure this out. Shopper 1: (whispering to their companion) What's wrong with that girl? Shopper 2: (overhearing) Probably just a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum. (Jane tries to explain Sam's situation to the shoppers, some understanding and sympathetic, others not so much) Shopper 3: (nodding understandingly) Ah, I see. Well, I hope they find something that works for them. Shopper 4: (disapprovingly) Well, they shouldn't be disrupting everyone else's shopping experience like this. (Cashier approaches, seeing Sam's distress) Cashier: Hey there, is everything okay? Jane: (explaining) Oh yeah, Sam just has some fixations and is feeling overwhelmed. Cashier: (nodding understandingly) I see. Let me show you some more model train sets that are within your budget. (Sam continues to scream and throw toys, still fixated on the SpongeBob plush) Sam: (crying) But I want it all! Why can't I have it all? Jane: (gently) Hey, let's take a look at these trains, why don't we? (Cashier shows Sam some model train sets within her budget, but despite his attempts to help, Sam still just wants the SpongeBob plush) Cashier: (understandingly) Well, how about we get you that SpongeBob plush? It's on sale right now. Sam: (sniffling) Okay. (Jane pays for the SpongeBob plush, a few shoppers still giving disapproving looks) Shopper 5: (judgmentally) That's what's wrong with kids these days, no discipline. Shopper 6: (whispering) It's not her fault, she has autism. (As Jane and Sam leave the store, Sam hugging the SpongeBob tightly, Jane reassures her) Jane: (gently) Hey, we got you something you really wanted, didn't we? And we'll come back and get some of those trains another day. Sam: (smiling) Thanks, Jane. You're the best. (Jane and Sam walk off, the SpongeBob plush leading the way, leaving the toy store behind)

(Sam starts pretending to have a conversation with SpongeBob, with Jane joining in) Sam: (speaking as SpongeBob) Hey, Sam, where do you wanna go today? Jane: (speaking as herself) How about we go to the beach? (Sam giggles, continuing the conversation with SpongeBob) Sam: (speaking as SpongeBob) That sounds like fun! Let's go!
