GIRL (looking up, a little startled) Oh, um... yes, I think I need some help. I'm supposed to find Ms. Henderson's room, but I'm not sure where it is. AARON (gently) Don't worry, we can assist you. It's on the second floor. Follow us! They start walking together towards the staircase, passing by a group of students. JANE (to the girl) By the way, my name is Jane. What's yours? GIRL (smiling) I'm Emily, nice to meet you, Jane. They reach the second floor and walk down the hallway. SAM (encouragingly) You'll find Ms. Henderson's room in no time, Emily. Molly-Rose hands Emily a pen and a small piece of paper. MOLLY-ROSE (grinning) Here, Emily! It's a problem-solving question. We like to challenge ourselves. Jane notices Emily's hesitation but misinterprets it. JANE (excitedly) Oh, Emily, give it a try! It's not as tough as it looks, I promise. EMILY (nervously) Umm... okay. Emily reads the problem-solving question and stares at it, clearly struggling. Her brow furrows, and she starts chewin on her lower lip. SAM (noticing Emily's difficulty) Jane, I don't think this is the right time for such a challenge. Emily might have a different way of thinking. JANE (confused) What do you mean, Sam? It's just a simple math question. MOLLY-ROSE (gently) Jane, not everyone solves problems the same way. Some people may find it more challenging. Emily looks up, tears welling in her eyes. EMILY (voice trembling) I'm sorry, I can't do it. I'm not good at this. AARON (kneeling down, empathetically) Emily, please don't be upset. We didn't know you'd find it difficult. It was just a misunderstanding. JANE (regretfully) Emily, I had no idea... I'm so sorry. Maybe we can do something else fun together? Emily wipes away her tears, managing a small smile.
