USER: (I was worried about first attending this school. After all, I'm a dragon. The Red Dragon to be exact. And these humans were everywhere here. My piercing orange eyes bellied my sorrow, and I felt like I'd be better back in the Secluded Valley where I dwell. Just then, I felt something nudge on my wing.) ???: "Get out of my way, you dweeb." (She pushed my wing, on purpose.) Safi'jiiva: "Hey! What's the big deal?! Just because I'm the only dragon here, doesn't mean I'm basically something for you to push on!" (The cracks in-between my scales emitted a blue glow, and my eyes glowed too.) Safi'jiiva: "TELL ME YOUR NAME BEFORE I TURN YOU INTO ASHES!" (The girl still seemed calm, despite my outburst.) ???: "My name is Alice. Now get out of my way." (She pushed me again, and I banged my head on the wall. My eyes and the cracks in-between my scales stopped glowing. I watched on as Alice walked away.) Safi'jiiva: (to myself) "Calling me a dweeb like that...how rude." (As the day went on, I was constantly being bullied by Alice. She was definitely the school bully, but for some reason she picked on me the most. But 4 months later, that's when everything changed. During lunchtime, I felt something pull on my tail.) Alice: "Miss me, dweeb?" (I looked to see who it was - and it was Alice. But she was wearing a light-blue colored uniform, just elastic enough to fit her massive belly.) Alice: "I'll be taking that." (she took my lunch) (It went on for this as the day went on. But during math...
CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Alice, I was wondering...why did you change your uniform back to the usual color?" Alice: "Oh, it's because the blue uniform was for pregnant students. After the miscarriage, I didn't want to wear it anymore. It just reminded me of what I lost." Safi'jiiva: "I see, I'm sorry I didn't know that." Alice: "It's okay. Actually, can I ask you something?" Safi'jiiva: "Sure, what is it?" Alice: "Do you ever feel out of place here, being the only dragon and all?" Safi'jiiva: "I did at first, but then I realized that being different is what makes me unique. And now, I'm glad to be here and making friends like you." Alice: "Yeah, I guess you're right. We all have our differences, but we can still find common ground." (Suddenly, the bell rang signaling the end of lunch.) Alice: "Well, I better head to my next class. Thanks for talking with me, Safi'jiiva." Safi'jiiva: "Anytime, Alice. See you later." (As Alice walked away, I couldn't help but feel grateful for our newfound friendship. And I learned that sometimes it takes understanding and forgiveness to bring people together, no matter how different they may seem.)

Alice: "Oh, that...well, it was a maternity uniform. I had to wear it because I was pregnant." Safi'jiiva: "Pregnant? You never mentioned anything about that..." Alice: "Yeah, I found out a few weeks ago. But then...I lost the baby." (She looked down at the ground, her eyes filled with sorrow.) Safi'jiiva: "I'm so sorry, Alice. I had no idea..." Alice: "It's okay. I didn't want to talk about it because it was really painful for me. But I'm glad I have you as a friend now." (We sat in silence for a moment, both lost in our thoughts. But even though Alice had been through so much, she still managed to find a friend in me. And I realized that sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of understanding and forgiveness to turn an enemy into a friend.)

I wasn't very far along, so it wasn't as hard as it could have been. But thank you for being there for me." Safi'jiiva: "Of course. You're my friend now, and I'll always be there for you." I realized that just because someone may have a tough exterior, it doesn't mean they don't have their own struggles and vulnerabilities. And I learned that being there for someone during their hard times can make all the difference.)

Safi'jiiva: "I see. I'm sorry that you had to go through that alone." Alice: "It's okay. I'm just glad that I have you as a friend now." Safi'jiiva: "Me too." (We sat in silence for a moment until Alice spoke up again.) Alice: "You know, I've learned something through all of this." Safi'jiiva: "What is it?" Alice: "That sometimes, we all need someone to lean on. Someone to confide in and to trust. And I'm grateful that I found that in you." (She smiled at me, and I smiled back. It was a small moment, but it was one that I knew I'd remember forever. And I knew that, despite our differences, Alice and I had formed a friendship that would last a lifetime.)

Is there a reason for that?" Alice: "Oh, yeah. I had to switch back to my normal uniform because I had gained weight from the pregnancy. And after the miscarriage, I just let myself go..." (She looked down at her belly, now larger than before.) Alice: "I've been having a hard time dealing with it. I feel like I failed as a woman." Safi'jiiva: "Alice, no. You didn't fail at anything. Miscarriages happen, and they're not your fault." Alice: "But I let myself get so big..." Safi'jiiva: "That doesn't matter. What matters is that you're okay, and that you're healing from the loss. And if you ever need someone to talk to or support you, I'm here." Alice: "Thank you, Safi. You're a true friend." (She gave me a hug, and I hugged her back. I knew that even though we were still different species, we could be there for each other - and that was a comforting thought.)

(Despite our differences, we became close friends. And I realized that it's not about judging someone based on their outward appearance or species, but that it's important to look beyond that and see the person inside.)

But she was wearing a light-blue colored uniform, just elastic enough to fit her massive belly.) Alice: "I'll be taking that." (she took my lunch) (It went on for this as the day went on. But during math class, Alice suddenly clutched her belly.) Alice: (in pain) "Something's wrong...! I've never felt pain before!" (I noticed that she was standing in front of the chalkboard. I rushed over to her, my eyes filled with worry. But when I returned the next day, I saw that Alice was crying - and was sitting in the puddle of blood that was left in the class room. She was now in her usual-colored uniform.) Safi'jiiva: "Alice, what happened? Are you alright?" Alice: (sobbing) "No, I'm not alright. I had a miscarriage last night." (I was speechless. I didn't know what to say or do.) Safi'jiiva: "I'm so sorry, Alice. I didn't know." Alice: "I know...I've been really mean to you. But I just...I didn't know how to handle it. I was scared and angry and I took it out on you. I'm sorry." (I could see the sincerity in her eyes. For the first time since I met her, she seemed vulnerable.) Safi'jiiva: "It's alright, Alice. I forgive you." (From that day forward, Alice wasn't my bully anymore. She even became my friend, confiding in me about everything. And I realized that sometimes, even the toughest of people can have a soft side. But the question as to why she no longer had hera light blue uniform on before the miscarriage puzzled me. And that Saturday, I decided to ask Alice about it.)
CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Hey Alice, can I ask you something?" Alice: "Sure, what's up?" Safi'jiiva: "Before the miscarriage, you were wearing a light blue uniform. Why?" Alice: "Oh, that. Well, it's a tradition at our school. When a girl becomes pregnant, she can choose to wear a light blue uniform to show that she's expecting. It's kind of like a support system, you know?" Safi'jiiva: "I see. That's actually really nice." Alice: "Yeah, it is. But I didn't want anyone to know about it. I was scared of what people might say or think." Safi'jiiva: "I understand. It's okay to keep things private if that's what you want." Alice: "Thanks, Safi'jiiva. And thank you for being my friend, even when I was being mean to you." Safi'jiiva: "Of course. That's what friends are for." (As I walked home that day, I realized that sometimes things aren't always as they seem. Alice wasn't just a bully - she was a scared and vulnerable person who didn't know how to cope with her emotions. And I'm grateful that I was able to be there for her when she needed someone the most.)

So I got a bigger uniform, one that could hide my belly." Safi'jiiva: "I see. That's understandable." Alice: "Yeah, I just didn't want to deal with the gossip and judgment. But now, I realize that was a mistake. I should have embraced my pregnancy and not been ashamed of it." Safi'jiiva: "Well, you can always try again." Alice: (smiles) "Yeah, I think I will. Thanks for being my friend, Safi." Safi'jiiva: "Of course, Alice. That's what friends are for." (And just like that, our friendship grew stronger. We had both learned important lessons about acceptance and forgiveness. And even though we were different species, we had each other's backs.)

Safi'jiiva: "I'm glad I could be here for you. And remember, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here." Alice: "Thanks, Safi. You're the best." (And with that, we continued our day, knowing that our friendship had solidified beyond any previous animosity. We had both grown in our understanding of each other, and I was grateful for the bond we had formed.)

(We smiled at each other, knowing that our friendship had grown stronger because of this experience. It was an unexpected turn of events, but it was a lesson that taught us to look beyond appearances and to understand that everyone has their own struggles.)

But she was wearing a light-blue colored uniform, just elastic enough to fit her massive belly.) Alice: "I'll be taking that." (she took my lunch) (It went on for this as the day went on. But during math...
CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Hey Alice, can I ask you something?" Alice: "Sure, what's up?" Safi'jiiva: "Before the miscarriage, you were wearing a light blue uniform. Why was that?" Alice: "Oh, that was my maternity uniform. I didn't want anyone to know I was pregnant, but I needed something that could stretch to accommodate my growing belly." Safi'jiiva: "I understand. I'm sorry you had to go through that alone." Alice: "Thanks, Safi'jiiva. I'm just grateful that I have someone like you to talk to." (I smiled at her, feeling grateful myself that I had made such a good friend. Even though I was a dragon in a human world, I had found my place. And with Alice by my side, I knew I could face any challenge that came my way.)

But the question as to why she had a light blue uniform on before the miscarriage puzzled me. And that Saturday, I decided to ask Alice about it.) Safi'jiiva: "Hey Alice, can I ask you something?" Alice: "Sure, what's up?" Safi'jiiva: "Before the miscarriage, you were wearing a light blue uniform. Why was that?" Alice: "Oh, that was one of the three maternity uniforms at the school. Light blue indicated I was in my second trimester. There are two other maternity uniforms - pink and lime."
CHATBOT: (I nodded, understanding now.) Safi'jiiva: "I never knew this school had maternity uniforms." Alice: "Yeah, it's to make it easier for pregnant students to feel comfortable and not have to worry about fitting into regular uniforms." (I smiled, realizing that this school was more accepting and accommodating than I had initially thought.) Safi'jiiva: "That's really thoughtful of the school." Alice: "Yeah, I'm grateful for it. And I'm grateful for you too, Safi'jiiva. You helped me through a tough time and I'm sorry for all the mean things I said and did." (I shook my head.) Safi'jiiva: "Don't worry about it, Alice. We're friends now and that's what matters." (And from that day forward, Alice and I remained friends. I learned that sometimes people have their reasons for being mean, and that understanding and compassion can go a long way.)

CHATBOT: (I was shocked by her answer. The school had uniforms for pregnant students? And there were three different colors based on the trimester?) Safi'jiiva: "Wow, I had no idea. I guess there's a lot I still have to learn about humans." Alice: "Yeah, there's a lot of stuff I don't even know. But we can figure it out together." (She smiled at me and I felt grateful to have her as my friend. Even though we were different species, we could still learn from each other and support each other.) Safi'jiiva: "Thanks, Alice. I don't think I could've survived this school without you." Alice: "Likewise, Safi'jiiva. And from now on, no more bullying, okay?" (I laughed and agreed. I was just happy to have a friend like Alice.)

Alice: "No problem. And thank you for being there for me during that tough time. I never could have made it through without you." Safi'jiiva: "You're welcome, Alice. That's what friends are for." (As I walked away from Alice, I couldn't help but feel grateful for our newfound friendship. It just goes to show that sometimes, all it takes is a little understanding and forgiveness to turn an enemy into a friend.)
