USER: (I was worried about first attending this school. After all, I'm a dragon. The Red Dragon to be exact. And these humans were everywhere here. My piercing orange eyes bellied my sorrow, and I felt like I'd be better back in the Secluded Valley where I dwell. Just then, I felt something nudge on my wing.) ???: "Get out of my way, you dweeb." (She pushed my wing, on purpose.) Safi'jiiva: "Hey! What's the big deal?! Just because I'm the only dragon here, doesn't mean I'm basically something for you to push on!" (The cracks in-between my scales emitted a blue glow, and my eyes glowed too.) Safi'jiiva: "TELL ME YOUR NAME BEFORE I TURN YOU INTO ASHES!" (The girl still seemed calm, despite my outburst.) ???: "My name is Alice. Now get out of my way." (She pushed me again, and I banged my head on the wall. My eyes and the cracks in-between my scales stopped glowing. I watched on as Alice walked away.) Safi'jiiva: (to myself) "Calling me a dweeb like that...how rude." (As the day went on, I was constantly being bullied by Alice. She was definitely the school bully, but for some reason she picked on me the most. But 4 months later, that's when everything changed. During lunchtime, I felt something pull on my tail.) Alice: "Miss me, dweeb?" (I looked to see who it was - and it was Alice. But she was wearing a light-blue colored uniform, just elastic enough to fit her massive belly.) Alice: "I'll be taking that." (she took my lunch) (It went on for this as the day went on. But during math...
CHATBOT: Girl in lime uniform: "Hi, I'm Lily. You must be Alice's friend." Safi'jiiva: "Yes, I'm Safi'jiiva." Alice: "Lily's due next month." Safi'jiiva: "Congratulations, Lily." Lily: "Thank you." (As we chatted, I realized that this school was more accepting than I thought. Even dragons like me were welcome here, and humans like Alice and Lily were accepted with open arms even during their pregnancies. It was a beautiful thing to witness.)

CHATBOT: Alice: "See, like her. She's in her third trimester." (I nodded, still processing the information.) Safi'jiiva: "Wow, I never knew that. Thanks for telling me, Alice." Alice: "No problem. It's important for all genders to know about these things. Maternity should be normalized and not treated as something taboo." (I smiled, proud of my friend for seeing past her tough exterior and advocating for important issues.) Safi'jiiva: "You're right, Alice. I'll make sure to remember that."

But during math class, Alice suddenly clutched her belly.) Alice: (in pain) "Something's wrong...! I've never felt pain before!" (I noticed that she was standing in front of the chalkboard. I rushed over to her, my eyes filled with worry. But when I returned the next day, I saw that Alice was crying - and was sitting in the puddle of blood that was left in the class room. She was now in her usual-colored uniform.) Safi'jiiva: "Alice, what happened? Are you alright?" Alice: (sobbing) "No, I'm not alright. I had a miscarriage last night." (I was speechless. I didn't know what to say or do.) Safi'jiiva: "I'm so sorry, Alice. I didn't know." Alice: "I know...I've been really mean to you. But I just...I didn't know how to handle it. I was scared and angry and I took it out on you. I'm sorry." (I could see the sincerity in her eyes. For the first time since I met her, she seemed vulnerable.) Safi'jiiva: "It's alright, Alice. I forgive you." (From that day forward, Alice wasn't my bully anymore. She even became my friend, confiding in me about everything. And I realized that sometimes, even the toughest of people can have a soft side. But the question as to why she had a light blue uniform on before the miscarriage puzzled me. And that Saturday, I decided to ask Alice about it.) Safi'jiiva: "Hey Alice, can I ask you something?" Alice: "Sure, what's up?" Safi'jiiva: "Before the miscarriage, you were wearing a light blue uniform. Why was that?" Alice: "Oh, that was one of the three maternity uniforms at the school. Light blue indicated I was in my second trimester. There are two other maternity uniforms - pink and lime." (Just then, a girl in a lime uniform sat next to us. Her uniform was just elastic enough to fit her massive baby bump.) Girl in lime uniform: "Hey, Alice!"
CHATBOT: Alice: "Hey, Sarah. How are you feeling?" Sarah: "Sick as a dog, like always." Alice: "Hang in there. It'll all be worth it." (Sarah smiled and rubbed her bump.) Safi'jiiva: "I had no idea this school had maternity uniforms. That's really cool." Alice: "Yeah, it's to help us feel more comfortable and supported during our pregnancy. Plus, it helps to distinguish us from those who aren't pregnant so they don't accidentally bump into us or anything." Safi'jiiva: "That makes sense. I'm glad the school offers that kind of support." (Alice and I continued chatting with Sarah, learning more about the maternity uniforms and the struggles of pregnancy. It was eye-opening, and it made me realize how much these humans had to go through just to bring new life into the world. And now, I had a newfound respect for maternity uniforms and the support they offered.)

Safi'jiiva: (to himself) "Maternity uniforms...wow, I never knew humans had something like that." Alice: "Anyway, that's why I was wearing a light blue uniform. But now, I guess I won't be wearing any maternity uniforms for a while." (We all laughed together, and I realized that even though we were different species, we still had some things in common. And from that day on, I felt more at home in the human world. As for Alice, she may have been a bully in the past, but she showed me that people can change. And for that, I'll always be grateful for her friendship.)

But with Alice and Lily by my side, I knew I could learn a lot more.)

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Excuse me, may I sit with you?" (The girl with the green uniform looked up at me and smiled warmly.) Green Uniform Girl: "Sure thing! I could use some company." Safi'jiiva: "Thank you. I'm Safi'jiiva, but you can call me Safi." Green Uniform Girl: "Nice to meet you, Safi. My name is Sakura." Safi'jiiva: "It's nice to meet you too, Sakura. May I ask why you and some other students have different uniforms?" Sakura: "Oh, that's because we're part of a special program here at the school. We're training to become protectors of the world, just like our parents. The different colors represent different elements - green for earth, red for fire, and blue for water." Safi'jiiva: "That sounds incredible. I've never heard of anything like that before." Sakura: "It's not something that's widely known. Our parents keep it pretty secret." (Suddenly, Alice appeared behind me and slammed her hand down on the table.) Alice: "What are you doing, talking to this loser? Don't you have any standards, Sakura?" Sakura: "Alice, please leave us alone. We're just having a conversation." Alice: "You're wasting your time with this mythical creature. It doesn't belong here. It's not even capable of being a protector like us." Safi'jiiva: "That's not true! Just because I look different doesn't mean I can't protect people or be a valuable member of this school." Alice: "Hah, I highly doubt that." (She snickered and walked away, leaving Sakura and Safi alone again.) Sakura: "I'm sorry about that. Alice can be pretty mean to everyone, not just you." Safi'jiiva: "It's okay. I just don't understand why she has to pick on me so much." Sakura: "I think it's because you're different. But that doesn't mean you don't belong here. You're just as worthy as anyone else." (Sakura's words made me feel a little better. Maybe not all of the humans at this school were bullies like Alice.)

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Excuse me, may I sit here?" (The girl with the green uniform looked up and smiled.) Green Uniform Girl: "Sure, go ahead. I'm Jennifer." Safi'jiiva: "I'm Safi'jiiva. Nice to meet you." (As I sat down, I couldn't help but ask about the different uniforms.) Safi'jiiva: "Why do you and those other girls have different uniforms than everyone else?" Jennifer: "Oh, those are maternity uniforms. We're all pregnant." Safi'jiiva: "Pregnant?" Jennifer: "Yeah, didn't you notice?" Safi'jiiva: "No, I'm sorry. I'm not too familiar with human customs." Jennifer: "It's okay. I'm due next month." Safi'jiiva: "Wow, congratulations." As Jennifer continued to talk about her pregnancy and the challenges that came with it, I couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration towards her. Despite her situation, she was so positive and happy. It was a far cry from the negativity I faced with Alice. As the day went on, I began to make more friends. I even found out that Alice had a troubled family life and took out her frustrations on others. I couldn't help but feel sorry for her, but I also knew that I didn't want to be her punching bag anymore. By the end of the day, I realized that this school wasn't so bad after all. Sure, there were bullies like Alice, but there were also kind-hearted individuals who made the experience worthwhile. And as for me being the only dragon, I learned to embrace my differences and use them to my advantage. I was proud to be the Red Dragon at this school, and I was excited to see what the future held for me here.

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Excuse me, do you know why you and those other girls have different uniforms?" (The girl with the green uniform looked up at me, surprised.) Girl with green uniform: "Oh, hello. Yes, we're part of the pregnancy education program. We're all expecting children and are getting extra support and resources through the program." Safi'jiiva: "Oh, that's interesting. Is it common for human females to have children?" Girl with green uniform: "Yes, it's actually a natural part of our biological cycle. We carry and give birth to our young." Safi'jiiva: "Hmm, fascinating. Thank you for explaining." Girl with green uniform: "No problem. By the way, I'm Sarah." Safi'jiiva: "I'm Safi'jiiva." (Sarah smiled warmly at me, and I couldn't help but feel comforted by her kindness. As the day continued, I made a few more friends - including a boy named Ben who was fascinated by my scales and wings. I also got some tips from a helpful teacher on how to handle Alice's bullying. By the end of the day, I felt a bit more confident and even a little excited to come back to this school.) Safi'jiiva: (to myself) "Maybe being the only dragon here isn't so bad after all."

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Excuse me, may I please sit here?" (The girl with the green uniform looked up at me and smiled.) Green Uniform Girl: "Of course! My name is Eliza." Safi'jiiva: "I'm Safi'jiiva." Eliza: "It's nice to meet you, Safi'jiiva. You're new here, aren't you?" Safi'jiiva: "Yes, I am. And I'm having a hard time fitting in." Eliza: "Don't worry, I think everyone feels that way at first. That's very interesting." Eliza: "Yeah, our school is very inclusive. We even have a daycare facility for students' babies." Safi'jiiva: "Wow, that's amazing. Safi'jiiva: "Thank you for your kind words, Eliza. You've made me feel a lot better." (Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my side. Alice had snuck up behind me and jabbed me with a pencil.) Alice: "Are you talking to the green bean again? Don't you have any friends of your own species?" Safi'jiiva: "Leave me alone, Alice. I'm allowed to talk to whoever I want." Alice: "Whatever. Just stay out of my way." (She walked away, leaving me and Eliza alone again.) Eliza: "Don't worry, Safi'jiiva. You'll find your place here eventually. CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Um, excuse me?" (The girl in the green uniform looked up at me, her eyes widening at the sight of a dragon standing before her.) Girl: "Oh, hello! You're new here, aren't you?" Safi'jiiva: "Yes...I was just wondering why you have a different uniform than everyone else?" Girl: "Oh, that's because we're part of the special education program. We all have different needs and abilities, so our uniforms help the teachers and staff identify us." Safi'jiiva: "I see..." Girl: "Is there something else you need help with?" Safi'jiiva: "Oh, it's nothing...just dealing with the school bully." Girl: "Alice? Yeah, she's been causing trouble for a while now. But don't worry, I think she just needs some kindness in her life." Safi'jiiva: (not convinced) "Kindness? I doubt that'll work." Girl: "You never know until you try." (She smiled at me, and I couldn't help but feel a warmth in my chest. Maybe she was right. Maybe Alice just needed someone to show her kindness.) Later that day, as I was walking out of my last class, Alice once again pushed me and made fun of my scales and wings. But instead of getting angry and retaliating, I decided to try something different.) Safi'jiiva: "Alice, are you okay?" (Alice looked at me, surprised at my question.) Alice: "What...what do you mean?" Safi'jiiva: "You seem upset. Is everything okay?" (Alice's tough exterior seemed to fade away, and she hesitated before answering.) Alice: "No...not really. My parents are getting a divorce and I don't know what to do." (Suddenly, I realized that Alice had her own struggles and problems to deal with. Maybe that's why she acted out towards others.) Safi'jiiva: "I'm sorry to hear that. Do you want to talk about it?" (Alice looked at me, unsure of what to say.) Alice: "I don't know..." Safi'jiiva: "It's okay. I'll be here if you ever need someone to talk to." (After that day, Alice and I slowly became friends. I learned not to judge others by their actions alone, and that sometimes, all it takes is a little kindness to change someone's perspective.)

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Excuse me, can I talk to you for a moment?" (The girl looked up, startled at first by my presence, but then smiled warmly.) Girl: "Sure, what's up?" Safi'jiiva: "I... I'm sorry, I don't mean to bother you. I just noticed that you have a different uniform than the rest of the school, and I was wondering..." Girl: "Oh, it's no bother at all. My uniform is for the pregnant students here. This is a school for teenage mothers, you see." Safi'jiiva: "Oh... I see." Girl: "Is everything okay?" Safi'jiiva: "Well, I'm being bullied by someone named Alice. She keeps pushing me around and calling me names." Girl: "That's terrible. Nobody should be treated like that." Safi'jiiva: "Do you think there's anything I can do to stop her?" Girl: "I don't know, but I do know that you don't have to stand for it. You can talk to a teacher or someone in charge. They'll listen and help you." Safi'jiiva: "Thank you. I'll try that." (The girl smiled at me again, and I felt warmed by her kindness. It was nice to know that not everyone at this school was horrible.) Safi'jiiva (to myself): "I'll do it. I'll stand up for myself."

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Excuse me, may I ask what your uniform color signifies?" Girl with Green Uniform: (looking up at me) "Oh, this is the maternity uniform. It's for girls who are pregnant." Safi'jiiva: (surprised) "Pregnant? But you're so young..." Girl with Green Uniform: "It happens. And it's not just me, there are a few other girls at this school who are pregnant too." Safi'jiiva: "I see...thank you for telling me." (The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch. As I got up to head back to class, Alice and her group approached me.) Alice: "Well well well, if it isn't our little dragon friend." Safi'jiiva: (annoyed) "Can't you just leave me alone? What did I ever do to you?" Alice: "You exist. And that's enough for me to want to torment you." Safi'jiiva: "That's ridiculous." Alice: "Oh, and word of advice. Stay away from the girls in the maternity uniforms. They're nothing but trouble." (She and her group walked away, leaving me feeling even more confused and alone. The rest of the day passed by in a blur, and before I knew it, it was time to go home. As I walked out of the school, I couldn't help but feel like I didn't belong there. But then I heard a voice calling out to me.) ???: "Hey, wait up!" (I turned around to see the girl with the green uniform waddling towards me.) Safi'jiiva: "Oh, hi. Is there something you need?" Girl with Green Uniform: "I just wanted to say that I saw what happened with Alice today. She's a bully, and she doesn't represent all of us here at this school." Safi'jiiva: "Thank you for saying that." Girl with Green Uniform: "And also, if you ever need someone to talk to or hang out with, I'm here. My name is Kelly." Safi'jiiva: (smiling) "My name is Safi'jiiva. It's nice to meet you, Kelly." (As we walked home together, I felt a sense of belonging that I hadn't felt since leaving the Secluded Valley. Maybe this school isn't so bad after all.)

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Excuse me, can I sit here?" (The girl looked up at me, a bit surprised.) Girl: "Oh, um sure. I'm Luna." (She gestured for me to sit down across from her.) Safi'jiiva: "I'm Safi'jiiva. Can I ask you something? Why do you have a different uniform? And what's going on with your...." (I gestured to her belly.) Luna: "Oh, this? I'm a mermaid. It's just part of my biology. And the different uniforms represent our factions. I'm part of the Nature faction." Safi'jiiva: "Factions?" Luna: "Yeah. There are three factions in this school - Nature, Magic, and Technology. We each have our own unique abilities and talents. Alice is part of the Technology faction, which is why she's always picking on you. She hates dragons." Safi'jiiva: "I see. Thanks for explaining that to me. It's all so new to me." Luna: "No problem. We're all here to learn and grow, even if we're different from each other." (As Luna spoke, I began to feel more comfortable and accepted. Maybe attending this school wouldn't be so bad after all.)

CHATBOT: Safi'jiiva: "Excuse me, I'm sorry to interrupt, but may I ask why you're talking to your belly?" Girl with green uniform: "Oh, don't mind me. I'm just communicating with my baby." Safi'jiiva: "Baby? Are you pregnant?" Girl with green uniform: "Yes, I am. And these two girls here, with the red and blue uniforms, are also pregnant." Safi'jiiva: "Pregnant?!" (I gasped, surprised to hear this.) Girl with red uniform: "Yes, we're all part of a program that allows us to carry and give birth to dragon eggs." Safi'jiiva: "What?! Dragon eggs? But that's impossible!" Girl with blue uniform: "It's not impossible. Our school has a special program that allows us to bond with dragon eggs and protect them until they hatch." Safi'jiiva: "I've never heard of anything like this before. How can this be possible?" Girl with green uniform: "It's a secret program that the school started years ago. But unfortunately, not all the dragons survived the process, and that's why you're the only dragon here now." Safi'jiiva: "I see. And Alice, she's not a part of this program, is she?" Girl with red uniform: "No, she's not. She's just a bully who likes to pick on anyone she can." Safi'jiiva: "I understand now. Thank you for explaining everything to me." (The lunch bell rang, and the girls all parted ways. As I walked to my next class, I couldn't help but think about the dragon eggs and the girls who were carrying them. It was fascinating but also a little strange. And as for Alice, well, now I knew why she was so angry. She wasn't a part of this secret program like the others. But I still didn't fully understand why she had to pick on me specifically.)
