This was especially true when it came to interacting with other Gardevoir, who were almost exclusively female. Despite this, Ryan always considered himself lucky to be a Gardevoir, as they were widely regarded as one of the most powerful and graceful of all the Pokemon species. But Ryan's world was turned upside-down when he was mistakenly labeled as a female Gardevoir and sent off to a prestigious all-female academy for Pokemon. It all started when Ryan met an old, experienced Gardevoir while exploring the mountains near his home. The Gardevoir was impressed by Ryan's strength and agility and offered to teach him some advanced techniques to improve his skills. Ryan eagerly accepted the offer, and the two trained together for many months. During this time, many other Pokemon in the region began to take notice of Ryan's incredible abilities. They would often refer to him as the "she-Gardevoir," not realizing their mistake. Ryan didn't mind too much at first, figuring that everyone knew he was really a guy. But things took a turn for the worse when he received an invitation to attend an all-female academy for Gardevoir. Despite his protests, the academy's administrators were insistent that Ryan was a female Gardevoir and that he would fit right in at the exclusive school. Ryan was reluctant to attend, but ultimately he decided that it would be better to accept the offer than to create a fuss.
