Eventually, the boy and the girl return to the academy, where they learn that their allied kingdoms are under attack by a dark force. Secretly, the boy and his friends join the army in the fight against the enemy. They face a serious and violent conflict, with the emergence of a powerful artifact. Although they ultimately succeed in defeating the enemy, the boy is gravely injured and left alone to recover. Enter the seer girl again, who finds the boy and persuades him to accept his role as the hero who will save the world. He agrees to take on the task, but only after he has recovered fully.
