The Great Hyperwar began with a Korean surprise attack on Mordvinian military installations and naval bases throughout the eastern lands of their empire. Backed by superior technology and economic prowess, the Korean military machine advanced quickly and audaciously, capturing several Mordvinian territories along the Pacific coast. Entrenched in the strong belief that their empire could not be defeated, the Mordvinians mustered a massive counter-offensive. Spanning thousands of miles and with a near-endless supply of manpower, the Mordvinian military was able to slow the Korean advance with fierce and bloody battles in the Siberian wilderness.
