He kicked off his shoes and flopped down on his bed, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. But as soon as he opened them again, something was different. He felt...odd. At first, he thought it was just exhaustion catching up with him. But as he looked down at his hands, he realized that they were changing. They were becoming...paws. And his skin was covered in fur. John's eyes widened in shock and a little bit of fear, but as he watched the transformation continue, he realized that it didn't hurt. In fact, it felt...kind of good. He let out a low, rumbling purr as his ears shifted and grew pointed, and his vision tunneled slightly as he started to see things in a different wavelength. But the biggest change was happening to his voice. As he opened his mouth to let out a little meow of confusion, he realized that his speech was starting to shift too. Words came out faster and softer, with little trills and purrs interspersed throughout. "Mrrreeeow..." John giggled. No, not John. `Nyaa~`, the catgirl that he was becoming, giggled, enjoying the sound of the new name that had just popped up in her head. As her face elongated and her tongue flicked out to taste the air, nyaa~ could feel the transformation accelerating. It was almost like an out of body experience- she could see herself becoming more and more catlike, but it didn't feel like it was really happening to her. But it was, and soon nyaa~ was completely transformed. Gone was John, replaced with a soft, fluffy catgirl with piercing green eyes and long whiskers. She stretched and preened a little, enjoying the sensation of her fur against her skin. "Wow, this is amazing!" she said to herself, her voice high and musical.
