As the clone troopers closed in on him, Grievous unleashed a barrage of blaster fire and lightsaber strikes, taking down several of his attackers before finally being overwhelmed. In the end, the mighty General Grievous fell at the hands of the very forces he had once commanded, becoming just another casualty of the Emperor's ruthless campaign to eliminate the Jedi and their allies.
