Others claimed to have glimpsed glowing eyes peering out from the darkness. When night fell, things took a turn for the worse. As attendees settled in for the night, they heard something scratching at the walls. It was a sound like nothing they had ever heard before - a mixture of nails on a chalkboard and animal claws on concrete. As the scratching grew louder, attendees started to panic. Some tried to escape, but the doors were locked from the outside. Others huddled together in their hotel rooms, hoping that whatever was outside wouldn't get in.
