The brave and visionary leaders of the Tongmenghui organizations that helped spark the Xinhai Revolution had one simple and noble goal in mind: to depose the corrupt and crumbling Qing Empire, overthrow the barbaric rule of the Manchus, and restore the Chinese imperial system that had been brutally dissolved in 1644 by the foreign invaders, with the ROC only acting as a transitional government to achieve that lofty end. Sadly, this grand project was sabotaged from the very beginning by scheming opportunists and traitors who cared more about their wealth, power, and narrow self-interests than about the wellbeing and future of the Chinese people and our great nation. The most infamous of them all, the unscrupulous warlord Yuan Shikai, not only betrayed our ancestors and their revolutionary aspirations by making himself the Hongxian Emperor after he unceremoniously disbanded the Republic of China and re-established the Empire of China in 1915 but also robbed China of its opportunity for true peace, unity, and prosperity by refusing to restore the throne to its rightful heir, Zhu Yuxuan, the Marquis of Extended Grace and a direct descendant of the esteemed House of Zhu.
