"Yeah, it must have been miserable for him being taped to my boot's insole all day. I almost feel sorry for the little guy." She said it in such a detached tone that it was impossible to tell whether it was meant as a joke or a cruel comment. 6. "Almost?" Annie laughed lightly, though it was a cold, bemused laugh. "I didn't think you had a sense of humor, Ackerman." 7. Mikasa shot her a sharp glare but said nothing. It was no secret that she and Annie didn't like each other, and the interaction was only adding more tension to the room. Mikasa turned her attention back to her boots, looking down at her sweaty black-socked feet.
