The strained relations provide an exciting challenge for our heroes as they struggle to battle their own doubts and prejudices in addition to defeating Dracula. Reindhart's journey remains mostly the same. He encounters Rosa, who tries to kill herself since she is a vampire. Reindhart manages to save her and subsequently battles Death before facing Dracula. After defeating Dracula, Reindhart is overjoyed when Rosa is brought back as a human. The two leave the castle together, ready to face a new life free from the darkness of their pasts. In Carrie's story, her encounter with the witch Actrise plays out as before. Actrise tries to recruit her into joining her to resurrect Dracula, then forces her to fight her vampirized cousin. Carrie manages to defeat Actrise, who is revealed to be her boss before Dracula, and eventually confronts Malus. When Malus proposes to Carrie with the engagement ring, Carrie uncovers the hidden power within the ring.
