Ann (taunting): Oh, don't fret, little kitty. We'll make sure you feel included in our twisted little game. Ryuji (cracking his knuckles): Yeah, I bet they'll love what we've got in store for them. As the two delve deeper into Mementos, leaving their friends to chase after them, they relish in their newfound darkness, unleashing havoc upon the Shadows they once fought. Ann (smirking as she toys with Shadows): I'll never get tired of this. So much fun toying around with these weaklings. Ryuji (punching Shadows with vicious glee): Damn right! This power... it feels amazing! Ann (gazing romantically at Ryuji): Aren't you just irresistible when you get this brutal? Ryuji (returning the gaze): You're not so bad yourself, Ann. I'll never let anything hurt you again. Their intimate moment is interrupted as Joker and the Phantom Thieves catch up to them. JOKER (determined): This ends now. We're not giving up on you, Ann and Ryuji! A fierce battle ensues, the Phantom Thieves desperately trying to break Ann and Ryuji free from their dark urges.

Did you really think you could win against us? The other Phantom Thieves rush to Joker's side, desperately trying to save their leader. Blood seeps through Joker's fingers, and his vision grows dim. ANN (mocking) Looks like your time is running out, Joker. With you gone, there'll be nothing standing in our way. RYUJI (leaning in close to Joker) Remember this, "leader"... We won because we embraced our true power, while you chose to hold back. You and your little gang of do-gooders never stood a chance. Joker struggles to fight despite his condition, but he is unable to withstand the pain much longer. His teammates look on helplessly, tears in their eyes as they watch their once strong leader reduced to this vulnerable state. As Joker's eyes slowly close and his head falls to the side, a faint glimmer of light appears within him, hinting at a fire that still burns inside, even against the darkness that has enveloped his friends-turned-foes. FADE OUT.

As the now-unmasked villains launch into an attack, the remaining Phantom Thieves prepare to defend themselves and try to save their friends from the grips of evil. But the difficult battle - and the knowledge that Ryuji and Ann have turned against them - makes this the most challenging fight they've ever faced.

Seeing Ann's sadistic behavior, Ryuji walks over, cracking his knuckles menacingly. His eyes narrow as he glares at the wounded Joker. RYUJI You thought you were such a big shot, huh? This is the end of the line for you, Joker. Ann stands up and walks back to join Ryuji, smirking. Together, they watch as Joker struggles to breathe, his life seeping away. RYUJI (smiling) Just give up, man. You're completely outmatched. Ann wraps her arm around Ryuji's waist, resting her head on his shoulder, both of them taking pleasure in Joker's suffering. ANN Goodbye, Joker. It's been...forgettable. As Joker's vision fades, Ryuji and Ann can be seen laughing together, amused by Joker's demise. Morgana and the remaining Phantom Thieves look on in disbelief, unsure of how they will ever prevail against Ryuji and Ann's newfound dark personas.
