In the smoldering wreckage of Berlin, the Hohenzollerns and their militant monarchist supporters swept away the remains of the fascist and national socialist groups, reforming the German Empire once more. Diplomatic and military cunning saw the German Empire rise like a phoenix from the muddy fields of Europe, reclaiming its old territories and subjugating the weaker states around it. The steely resolve of the Scandinavian people coalesced around a new vision of unity in the form of the United Scandinavian Czardom. With Sweden at its helm, the Scandinavian Czardom brought together the Nordic countries and laid claim to the vacant Eastern European territories. Beside them, Austria wielded its ancient diplomatic prowess, forging a new Austro-Hungarian Empire from the fragmented remains of Central Europe. In tandem with the newly resurgent Spanish monarchy, the two nations forged a conservative European alliance that spanned from the Mediterranean to the shining peaks of the Austrian Alps. With no identity and no way of returning home, Naruto, desperate and alone, adopted the name Shinji Kanzaki after finding a document belonging to the boy whose identity he took.
