However, the truth was far stranger than anyone could have imagined. It was Achamoth, not a divine miracle, that mated with the King of the Ifrit and put the baby in him. The child crawled out of the king, and Iblis was born, with the divine spark within him, a gift unlike any other. As time went on, Iblis and his Shayatin grew in number, and their power could not be denied. But their divine sparks could not be shared, and in time, Iblis became a legend amongst the Shayatin, a deity they could never hope to equal. No matter how many offspring they had, they would never inherit the divine spark that made Iblis so powerful. And so, the Shedim continued to exist in their ordered universe, a reminder of the divine power that created them, but also of the limitations that bound them.

Before he could refute, the Archon of Beauty and Pride turned to him and said, "Iblis, you were once our trusted leader. But, in your pursuit of power, you lost sight of your values. You caused destruction and pain, and for that, we cannot let you have so much power." Iblis realized that he had become too arrogant and power-hungry. He had lost his way and forgotten his ultimate goal, which was to serve the Lord. Thankful for the council's wisdom, he humbly asked for forgiveness and promised to redeem himself. God saw the sincerity in his heart and forgave him. Iblis was once again appointed as the leader of the Archangels but with the understanding that he would not let his pride get in the way of his dedication to the Lord. From that day on, Iblis became known as the humble and wise Seraphim, who used his power to serve the Lord dutifully.

Unyielding in his desire for control and obsessive by nature, he sets out to create a being that shall love and obey him unconditionally. Taking the soil of Earth and blending it with heavenly water, God fashions clay in the image of creations previously crafted by Helel. He then uses heavenly fire to imbue life into his creation, shaping it with the divine air. He christens his masterpiece "Adam," although, unbeknownst to him, it was Achamoth who had planted this notion in his mind, as the Demiurge lacks the divine spark. This idea was born after Adam Kadmon, a spiritual being or "idea" that dwells in the Pleroma.

Their first step was to create a Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden, with fruit that contained Achamoth's knowledge, the divine spirit, and Helel's invention - the spiral of life. While the Demiurge and Adam were in the Seventh Heaven, they would execute this plan. Next, Helel would start a rebellion. He knew that he couldn't win the battle, but he could get banished to Malkuth, where he would wait for the right time to make Adam eat from the Tree of Knowledge and liberate him.
