CHATBOT: Unadministered Territories is a mind-numbingly terrible TV series that fails in every aspect of storytelling, humor, character development, and overall entertainment value. The random, bizarre adventures that the characters go on might seem interesting at first, but they quickly become repetitive and contribute nothing to the show's overall narrative. The writing is just plain bad. The jokes fall flat and the dialogue is forced and cringe-inducing. The show tries to be clever and witty, but it fails miserably in every attempt. It's as if the writers were trying to create a surrealistic, absurdist humor, but ended up just being nonsensical and confused. The acting is equally terrible. The actors seem to be trying hard, but it's clear that they're struggling to make something out of the poor writing and lackluster characters. The attempts to keep the audience interested with frequent twists or turns are so unsuccessful that even the vibrant, dynamic cinematography - bordering on experimental and psychedelic - can't save the film from its abysmal storyline. Oh, and who could forget the family members themselves? Somehow, everybody is either irritating or insipid, with Pascal Flamand's naivete or the Hertig patriarch's overbearing villainy, making your brain cells beg for mercy. The high-ranking and presumably ruthless law commissioners, Basil Bends and Percival Gleswick, only add to the confusion, as their presence seems almost unnecessary; their terrifying nature is wasted on this farce. And can we please talk about the Marcel Messier character? Patricia's ex-fiance and a journalist? His deadbeat attitude is exhausting and almost comical. You can't help but wonder if the screenwriter was in some sort of haze while penning this disaster.
