Every time I wanted to use it, I had to spend at least 30 minutes fitting and adjusting the device to my body. Even then, it often wasn't very comfortable and sometimes hurt to wear. This process was time-consuming and frustrating, especially when I had to wear the exoskeleton for long periods. The exoskeleton was also too expensive. Considering the limited amount of use I was able to get out of it, the high price tag simply cannot be justified. The exoskeleton was supposed to enable me with more independence, but it only increased my dependence on others when I couldn't operate it. Overall, the exoskeleton failed to meet my needs as someone suffering from paraplegia. It was an expensive, uncomfortable, and frustrating device that offered little to no assistance to my mobility that my manual wheelchair couldn't provide.
