CHATBOT: As someone who suffers from paraplegia, I was ecstatic when I first received my exoskeleton. However, after a short period of limited use, I came to the conclusion that it was more trouble than it was worth. Suffice it to say that my experience with the exoskeleton was a total disappointment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. For starters, the exoskeleton was too heavy and cumbersome. I understand that it was created to support my mobility, but when using it, I felt more like a robot than a human being. It was incredibly difficult to move around in, and I often felt like I was constantly fighting against the machine. In comparison, my manual wheelchair provided much more flexibility and ease of use, allowing me to move freely without any trouble. Furthermore, the exoskeleton was not user-friendly at all. Every time I wanted to use it, I had to spend at least 30 minutes fitting and adjusting the device to my body. Even then, it often wasn't very comfortable and sometimes hurt to wear. This process was time-consuming and frustrating, especially when I had to wear the exoskeleton for long periods. The exoskeleton was also too expensive. Considering the limited amount of use I was able to get out of it, the high price tag simply cannot be justified. The exoskeleton was supposed to enable me with more independence, but it only increased my dependence on others when I couldn't operate it. Overall, the exoskeleton failed to meet my needs as someone suffering from paraplegia. It was an expensive, uncomfortable, and frustrating device that offered little to no assistance to my mobility that my manual wheelchair couldn't provide. Instead of providing freedom and mobility, it tethered me down to a machine, and I returned to using my manual wheelchair full-time. If you're considering purchasing an exoskeleton, please think twice before investing your time and resources into something that may cause more stress and discomfort than benefit.

This time-consuming, labor-intensive endeavor includes an array of straps, adjustments, and calibrations that quickly became a daily annoyance. I found this to be a challenging and sometimes even painful task to manage on my own, often requiring assistance from others to accomplish. For a device marketed primarily for its independence-promoting features, this substantial shortcoming proved to be a major source of disappointment. In addition to the rigors associated with putting on and taking off the exoskeleton, the device itself was disappointingly heavy, bulky, and difficult to maneuver. While it did, admittedly, offer some semblance of mobility, the exoskeleton's weight and bulkiness posed consistent challenges when navigating tight spaces, busy public areas, or even my home and workplace. Another critical issue I experienced with the exoskeleton is its battery life, which is sorely lacking. Given the relatively lengthy charging time and the limited operational window that the exoskeleton affords between charges, I often found myself preoccupied with the fear of running out of power at inopportune moments. This anxiety was further compounded by the fact that the exoskeleton is essentially inoperable when the power is out, leaving me effectively stranded whenever this occurred. Moreover, I found the exoskeleton to be inadequately customizable and poorly suited to my specific needs, given the many personal adjustments and alterations that are typically required when accommodating different body types, sizes, and unique physical needs.
