Britt Lindqvist suffers from progressive muscle degeneration. It has stopped by now, but not before confining her to wheelchair and making her incontinent. As she wakes up, she needs to change her diaper, but her limbs are always uncooperative in the morning, so she has to wait for her mother Maj-Britt to help. Maj-Britt then quickly does some exercise for Britt's mostly useless legs and mostly useful arms, so she can transfer to wheelchair by herself and prepare to go to university, on her own, as usual, being proud for her independence despite her challenges.
