Elaborate on how it could be more realisitic and how it could do the things I am about to list. Arsem is a bloodborne illness from a faraway exoplanet that has a far older biosphere then earths and is therfore far more complex. The bloodborne illness, or "Arsem" infects any hosts, preffering intelligent organisms but wont hesitate to infect a organism with no nuerons, like a tree. Once infected, the Arsem cells will infect the entire body by replicating immune system messages and tricking the immune system into working for the Arsem, this causes the host to have no resistance against the attack. The immune system will aid the Arsem and help it assimilate all of the cells on the organism and the nuerons to be able to control the organism entirely. Once this process is complete, the Arsem cells will begin to dissasemble the hosts organs and body, and turn it into a sludging fleshy amourphous slob, that will sludge into a safe place like a burrow or a lake and will attempt to transform into a unrecognizable organism that helps spread the Arsem illness by killing organisms and spreading the blood to infect more since it is a bloodborne illness. One may question why the disease would make the host such an unfunctional mass that will ultimately lead to the host dying and the disease along with it.
