It would be the perfect hiding spot. YU (nods) It's a possibility we can't ignore. We should gather our equipment and head to the TV world. Her life is worth more than any of yours, and I won't hesitate to crush anyone who dares to come between us. Just as Shinji finishes speaking, the duo moves away from the screen. The control room is left in chaos and uncertainty as Misato and the other NERV members grapple with the revelation of Shinji and Asuka's newfound dark allegiance. The screen fades to black, spelling an ominous future for the remaining characters as they struggle with this new threat to humanity.

Asuka smirks, placing her palm on the window, conjuring up an energy barrier to protect their hideout. ASUKA Let them come.
