There's an unsettling aura about them. Nancy, dressed as an elegant diva, looks around haughtily. Jonathan stands, almost lurking, behind her, a new sense of cold intelligence in his eyes. NANCY (rolls her eyes) What a quaint little gathering. Is this the best you could come up with, Joyce? JOYCE (confused) What... What's gotten into you two? Jonathan moves closer to Nancy, his eyes on her, admiring. JONATHAN What Joyce seems to misunderstand is that Nancy here deserves the best. The best of everything. Isn't that right, my love? Nancy smirks as she dramatically flips her hair away from her face. NANCY Oh, Jonathan, you're just so clever. Finally, someone who appreciates me for the amazing person I am. The gang exchanges worried looks. MIKE What happened to you guys? Eleven steps forward, sensing the darkness lurking within them. ELEVEN The Mind Flayer... It has them. Jonathan's grin widens, pure malice shining through. JONATHAN Ah, so the girl finally speaks. Good for you. But speaking won't save any of you now. Not with my dearest Nancy and myself by the Mind Flayer's side. He kisses Nancy's hand, and she laughs wickedly, looking down on the whole group. NANCY And with us, there is no more hope for your silly little quest. Face it, you've lost. In that moment, the power flickers in the room. The gang quickly forms a protective circle, unsure of what the possessed Nancy and Jonathan's next move might be. The tension rises as the potential for a confrontation builds. The Mind Flayer hated it when I got too hot. MAX (considering) Yeah, maybe we can lure them into a sauna or a heated room of some sort. Joyce suddenly appears thoughtful. JOYCE I've got another idea. We can try to connect with them, remind them of who they really are... Maybe it'll weaken the Mind Flayer's control over them. ELEVEN (firm) I will do anything to save them. MIKE Eleven is right. We'll do whatever it takes to bring them back. The gang starts brainstorming each of their ideas, from using Eleven's powers to creating a heated room to help weaken the Mind Flayer's control. They prepare themselves for the battle of their lives, to save their friends and stop the Mind Flayer once and for all. CUT TO: INT. DARK ROOM, UNKNOWN LOCATION - NIGHT Jonathan and Nancy sit together on a luxurious couch, seemingly in a trance, completely under the Mind Flayer's control. They are suddenly snapped out of it when they see the distorted face of the Mind Flayer in their minds, demanding them to find and crush the gang. JONATHAN (cold, calculated) Don't worry, my dear Nancy. No one will ever harm you. I will see to that. NANCY (smirking) Well, Jonathan, I believe I can take care of myself. But isn't it so much more fun when we do it together? As the gang prepares their plan to save Nancy and Jonathan, the possessed couple is also getting ready for their inevitable showdown. The stakes are higher than ever before, and this battle will push everyone involved to their limits. END SCENE

Jonathan exhales a puff of cigar smoke, grinning coldly. JONATHAN Indeed. Our dear friend, the Mind Flayer, has chosen us as its newest loyal soldiers. Joyce and Hopper exchange alarmed glances, realizing the severity of the situation. NANCY Taking over this pathetic town will be a walk in the park. Oh, and trying to stop us? Don't even bother, it'll be a meaningless effort. With sinister smirks on their faces, Nancy and Jonathan walk out of the room, arm in arm, leaving a trail of cigar smoke behind them. Joyce and Hopper stand in the room, shock and horror plastered on their faces. HOPPER We need to get those kids back, Joyce. We can't let the Mind Flayer win. Determined, Joyce nods in agreement as they prepare for their most dangerous mission yet.
CHATBOT: INT. NANCY AND JONATHAN'S SECRET LAIR - NIGHT A sleek, sophisticated room with dim lighting and luxurious decor hides the sinister intentions of Jonathan and Nancy. Nancy sits at a vanity, applying her makeup with exaggerated elegance, while Jonathan sits nearby, reading files with a sinister grin. Nancy leaves a note for Eleven to find in Hopper's car. The note reads: "Eleven, we need to talk. There's so much you don't know. Meet me at the old warehouse by Maple Street." Eleven, curious and concerned, follows the mysterious note. INT. OLD WAREHOUSE - NIGHT Eleven hesitantly steps inside the seemingly abandoned warehouse. As she does, hidden lights flicker on, revealing the extravagant lair. Nancy continues applying her makeup, her back turned to Eleven. NANCY Ah, Eleven. So glad you received my invitation. ELEVEN (Defensive) What do you want, Nancy? NANCY (Polite but cold) How about you have a seat? We have to talk. Eleven reluctantly sits down. Nancy turns her head towards Eleven, never letting the makeup brush leave her face. NANCY You know, the world isn't as black and white as you think, Eleven. There are far more powerful and enigmatic forces at play here. ELEVEN What are you talking about? Nancy sets down the makeup brush and turns to face Eleven, her transformation complete. NANCY The Mind Flayer, darling. You thought you had defeated it, but it has only evolved, and now it's enlightened us. Jonathan smirks and walks over, lighting a cigar. JONATHAN We were chosen. Nancy and I are more powerful than ever. Eleven's eyes widen with suspicion. ELEVEN You want me to join you? Nancy smiles slyly, looking down at Eleven. NANCY Smart girl. You've always been powerful, Eleven. You could wield the forces of the Mind Flayer for your own benefit, just like we have. ELEVEN (Disgusted) No. I'll never join you. Jonathan inhales a puff of cigar smoke, sinister smirk still in place. JONATHAN Oh, you will, Eleven. It's either that, or spend the rest of your life running. NANCY Just imagine it, Eleven. Unleashing your true potential, leaving behind all the pain, and becoming one of us. Nancy stares intently at Eleven, her hypnotic gaze pulling her in. Eleven struggles internally, contemplating the very morals that shaped her existence. Her mind races, her face displaying the battle she's fighting within herself. Cut to a close-up of Nancy's manipulative, eager eyes, her lips curved into the faintest of smiles. FADE OUT.
