HAWKINS HIGH SCHOOL - LATER STEVE nervously carries his books down the hall. JONATHAN, the jock, pushes him into the lockers before laughing with NANCY. NANCY -that's so mean, Jonathan! Give it a rest. Nancy then sees Eleven in the hallway and runs over to her. NANCY Oh my gosh, you must be the new girl! I'm Nancy, and that's my boyfriend Jonathan. ELEVEN Thanks, I'd love to join you guys! As Nancy and Eleven chat, Steve glances over to ROBIN, his shy and quiet girlfriend. They exchange a small, knowing smile. INT. HAWKINS HIGH SCHOOL - CAFETERIA - MIDDAY Eleven sits with Nancy, Max, and Lucas, chatting about their plans for the weekend. The gang knows they have to find a way to save their loved ones from the grasp of the Mind Flayer. The camera pans out, leaving the scene open to the upcoming, thrilling obstacles the group will face in their mission to save Nancy and Jonathan.
