Welcome or whatever. Kanji Tatsumi, sporting a buzz cut and tattoos, elbows Yosuke as they walk by Yu's desk. KANJI Better not mess with the Angels, newbie. Yu smirks, unfazed. YU I can take care of myself, thanks. Yosuke sneers at Yu and takes Chie's hand, walking out of the classroom. YOSUKE (whispering to Chie) He won't last long here. As time goes on, Yu continues to collaborate with the boys (Yosuke, Teddie, and Kanji), eventually joining Yosuke and the Angels. He starts to win over Rise by not being intimidated by her popularity and eventually they become a couple. Teddie is cautious of Yu but slowly warms up to him. The story could then focus on Yu's journey to toughen up and befriend the "darker" versions of the Persona 4 cast, humanizing them, and winning them over with his charismatic and determined personality.
