CHATBOT: Chapter III: The Enigmatic Newcomer "I must say, I never expected to find myself at Hogwarts at the age of fifteen," mused the dark-haired, exceptionally beautiful boy as he looked around the cavernous Great Hall with an air of detached interest. "Nevertheless, here I am, destined to either be lauded as a prodigy or scorned as an outsider." The students and faculty had scarcely finished their extravagant arrival feast when the boy seemed to materialize into existence - arriving late, but with an air of purpose that could not be missed. He was taller than most boys his age, and his eyes were a remarkable shade of green - an emerald that gleamed in the enchanted candlelight that danced overhead. They were at once beautiful and mysterious, as was the long, slender wand that he held in his pale, delicate fingers. A thinking sort of boy, he looked around at his new habitat, much as a scientist might examine a new specimen under a microscope. "Now, observe, my young friend," he said quietly to a small boy with sandy brown hair who looked rather overwhelmed, "you'll see how the power dynamics in this place work. Keep your eyes peeled - this is the beginning of a great adventure." The boy's gaze traveled across the Great Hall, lingering on the faces of his classmates, parsing their chatter and laughter, their gestures and friendships. He seemed to instantly process everything about his new surroundings, to organize it in his mind like an exquisitely detailed, well-ordered mental library. He nodded his head to himself, as if he had already begun to make his future plans. As they stood observing the room, the unmistakable figure of Draco Malfoy, with his pale blond hair and pointed features, appeared in the doorway. His eyes narrowed as they fell upon the newcomer. "And who do we have here? A new student?" he sneered, sauntering forward in a manner that seemed to scream unpleasantness. "A rather old one, at that. Did it take you this long to find your way here? Or are you just desperate for a little attention?" With no hint of emotion, the new boy smiled at Malfoy, never taking his eyes off him. "Well, it certainly seems that you have managed to attract *my* attention, so perhaps I am successful in that respect. My name is <PRESIDIO_ANONYMIZED_PERSON>.
