USER: Thread Title: Squish Cartoon Coming to Kids WB! Mid-Season Madness GreenJelly223: Hey Squish fans! Did you guys hear the news? There's a Squish cartoon in the works and it's hitting Kids WB's mid-season lineup! Can't wait to see our favorite amoeba make the jump from page to screen! MicrobeMania: No way, this is awesome! Squish has been one of my favorite graphic novel series for my kids. They're going to freak out! Have they announced who's behind the animation or any voice actors yet? AmoebaAmy: OMG, this made my day! I stumbled onto the news on Twitter but wasn't sure if it was real. I just hope they keep the charm of the comics. The sense of humor in Squish is just right for a cartoon! ScienceRules45: @MicrobeMania I read that the team behind some of the recent popular cartoons is on board for this. As for voice actors, nothing's announced yet. I'm crossing my fingers they get some quality talent. Hoping for some great chemistry between Squish, Pod, and Peggy. TheComicNerd21: True, voice acting can make or break a cartoon adaptation. I'm a bit skeptical, tbh. Sometimes these transitions lose the spirit of the original material. But I'll reserve judgment until we get a trailer or something. ArtsyOwl: Has anyone heard about the art style yet? The simplistic yet expressive style of the books is super charming. Kids WB tends to go for flashier animation, though I hope they keep it close to the spirit of the Squish comics. HappyMom200: I just hope they tackle the educationa...
CHATBOT: Thread Title: Saying Goodbye to Johnny Test - A Tribute Thread KidCartoonFan01: It's been a few weeks since Johnny Test officially left the CW4Kids lineup, and I gotta say, I'm really missing the guy. From his crazy hair to those wild sisters of his, the Test family brought so much fun and chaos! Anyone else feeling the Johnny Test void? ScienceRules45: Definitely feeling it here! Johnny Test was like that comfort show you could always count on for a laugh. His adventures (or misadventures?) with Dukey were the highlight of my viewing routine. It's tough seeing your favorite characters go. DigiToonLover: It's a bummer, for sure. The blend of science, humor, and just outright wackiness was something special. But hey, at least we've got the memories, and who knows? Maybe Johnny and the crew will make a comeback someday. Until then, YouTube reruns will have to do. RetroToonFan88: Honestly, Johnny Test was a staple of my childhood. Those sound effects, the fast-paced action, and the hilarious scenarios Susan and Mary put Johnny through... classic! It bridged so many cartoon elements perfectly. AmoebaAmy: And let's not forget about Bling-Bling Boy. Every show needs a good rival-turned-friend-turned-rival, and he was one of the best. Johnny Test did a great job mixing everyday problems with zany science fiction solutions. It kept my imagination going wild. ToonTalker91: What I appreciated most was how Johnny Test could appeal to almost anyone. Sibling rivalry, friendship, innovation, even a bit of romance here and there. It had a little bit of everything without losing its comedic heart. GloopyGlitterFan: As a Gloopy and Glitter fan, I see a bit of a kindred spirit in Johnny Test. Both shows don't shy away from pushing the envelope with creativity and fun. Here's hoping CW4Kids fills that Johnny-sized hole in the lineup with something equally adventurous. NostalgiaNerd: There's always hope for revivals or reboots in this day and age. Johnny Test might be gone for now, but who knows what the future holds for our favorite test subject? Keep those fingers crossed, gang! Admin_4KidsRevamp: We hear you, fans! Johnny Test has been an incredible part of the CW4Kids family, and while we're always updating our lineup, we never forget the shows that made us all laugh, cheer, and dream. Keep the tributes coming, and who knows what surprises the future might bring? Thread Closed by Admin_4KidsRevamp
