Nina greeted Nicolas warmly as he entered her office. She could sense his nervousness and shyness, but she knew that with her guidance, he could overcome these obstacles. "Hello Nicolas, it's very nice to meet you. Please have a seat," Nina said as she gestured to the comfortable armchair in front of her desk. Nicolas sat down, fidgeting slightly and avoiding eye contact. Nina noticed his physical appearance - his stature and glasses - but didn't make any judgment about him based on it. "Can you tell me what brings you to see me today?" Nina asked, her tone calm and reassuring. "I...I have always been very shy and...and submissive. It makes it hard for me to...to connect with people and live my life," Nicolas spoke quietly, still not looking up. Nina nodded understandingly. "I see. Well, we can work together to explore the underlying causes of your shyness and submission. And, if you're interested, I can also teach you some techniques for self-hypnosis that can help you feel more empowered." Nicolas seemed hesitant but curious. "That...that sounds interesting. How does it work?" Nina explained the basics of hypnosis and how it can be used to help people overcome limiting beliefs and behaviors. She emphasized that it was a safe and natural process, and that Nicolas would always be in control of his thoughts and actions. After a few more minutes of discussion, Nina guided Nicolas into a relaxed state of hypnosis. She helped him visualize himself as a confident and assertive person, and suggested that he could use this image to motivate himself and overcome his shyness. When the session was over, Nicolas felt calmer and more focused. He thanked Nina and made another appointment for the following week. As he left, Nina couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at helping someone like Nicolas, who was struggling with his self-esteem and sense of purpose. She knew that there was still a lot of work to be done, but she was confident that they were off to a good start.
